Softlock with purple sky after completing the first nether portal
After i defeat the nether portal(the goal was to break it down) and the cutscene ends and i get the control back if i try to move i cant because it drops me back and i cant do anything else.(building, sword swinging etc.)And after i try to leave it gets stuck at "saving" and then nothing happens and i need to close the game while it "saves" and i get droped back like 20 minutes of gameplay.(i tried it twice and it was the same)
I dont think that the problem is from my side because i didn t do nothing out of the ordinary.
(i sadly can t attach a photo but it look s like that the chunk's arent loading in and the sky is like some sort of purple)

I cant continue the game because of this.

It was recorded on the Windows version.
I had a similar issue and made a new post for it where I died right before a cutscene started and respawned and was not able to do anything and was stuck in the same spot you were. Our issues are definitely linked somehow. Although luckily for me, mine did end up saving after the cutscene finished but the issue stayed until I Alt + F4'd.
This happened to me while playing co-op crossplay. The host was on PS5 and continues to be stuck in this state. I was playing the campaign on PC and also experienced the same issue on my end.
Upon leaving the campaign, the game is stuck on the saving screen indefinitely until the PS5 rebooted itself to "save power". I uploaded a PS5 error report using their error reporting utility.
Workaround: reload a previous autosave and replay the Night Portal event.
Here is also a list of things you can't do while in this state:
Edit: smaller versions of this glitch can happen when you teleport and only have some of the effects listed above except leaving the game it doesnt softlock you if you do

I have the same issue when playing on a Nintendo Switch version.
Replaying and destroying the Night Beacon / Nether Portal again doesn't solve the issue.
