This is the expected behavior as xbox one only supports 2 players. Newer consoles like Xbox series X supports 4 players.
It happened with my friends and me too but we were all on Xbox series s or x not Xbox One version so its a problem for Series S, X as well.
We have two Xbox one x, the one allows for 4 players in minecraft legends however the other one doesn’t, it will only allow two players.
This happens to us in the Nintendo Switch as well. The page for the switch(and all the current marketing) clearly says 1-4 players online so this is not expected behavior per the above comment.
Regarding
MCLG-249: It seems to be affecting the Xbox Series X. May be updated as "Multiple" platforms. This is not the expected behavior on Xbox Series X. I have three people, each with an Xbox Series X, and all three of us cannot join the same game together. We are in three separate households. We have validated that we are on Open NAT on all of our networks. We have also validated that it is not just one of us; each of us can join the other as long as it's just two of us. The third, regardless of who it is, cannot join and gets a Connection Timeout error when trying to join.
If you need more information, please let me know. Would really like to get this issue resolved.
In
MCLG-249I was asked about my Xbox port and router configuration. Everything is default on the Xbox and the router supports upnp. Since this bug reports the same issue with Xbox in different locations, and we do not have connection issues in other games (Minecraft, Deep Rock Galactic, Mechwarrior 5, to name a few locally hosted games), is there any merit to me messing about with alternate ports and the like?Closing, as the issue no longer occurs.
