MCPE-16283Redstone torch burn/turn off when placed on the side of a piston
If you place a redstone torch on the side of a piston it will blink a few times and go off then.
Steps to Reproduce:
1 - Put a piston somewhere
2 - Place a redstone torch on the piston side
3 - Done!

I could not reproduce this bug on Apple devices, specifically iPad mini on iOS 9.3.3.

This is actually really useful and many people rely on this. This is a feature, not a bug.
This is definitely a bug. The block to which a torch is attached to should not be powered, and the block directly above the torch should receive strong power, but all other adjacent blocks should recieve weak power.
As demonstrated in Screenshot_2016-07-19-21-49-08.png, the block adjacent to the torch is only weakly powered, and so the piston should not be powered. If the block was strongly powered, the redstoen dust on top of the block would also be powered like the piston.
Perhaps this is related to MCPE-15195 & MCPE-16283 - they all involve redstone torches and pistons.
Shouldn't this bug be closed since the new behavior is in MCPE-16283? Or should that bug be closed and this one be updated with the new behavior?
Duplicate of MCPE-16283. This bug has been fixed in 0.16 beta . Just wait for 0.16 to get a fix
I tried it, and it also happened to me, confirmed in Samsung devices too.
Ryan Moore, the bug has been introduced in 0.15.3, which hasn't been released for iOS.
Confirmed for 0.15.90.2. (Tested on Pocket Edition.)

Hi I found a Buhs in 0.16.0 monecraft vercion of 4 to buil moment you pick up a sword and chop stone like pica fast as a peak also I have a problem on a cell phone that have a Samsug s2 when Send It minecraft the screen goes black and soon tells me minecraft not respond and tried many things to areglarlo but I do not work only happens in 0.15.0 and 0.16.0 vercion DepNet.com for previous to that I work right mind
