Very slow load times on modern hardware (slower than my phone)
Bedrock takes an extremely long time to launch on my PC. I was begrudgingly accepting of this fact until I realized that it launches nearly 3 times faster on my phone! I don't understand how this can be possible without a bug.
The Test
1. Start with a fresh install of Minecraft, and nothing else running
2. Full launch (to get the cache warm)
3. Close the game (force stop on phone)
4. Launch the game and start the timer
5. When the game has loaded, generate a new world
6. Timing stops when the world starts rendering
My PC Specs:
OS: Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22623 Build
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor @ 3.60 GHz
RAM: 12.0 GB
Storage: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB NVMe M.2 (93 GB free)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
My Phone Specs:
Model: Google Pixel 7
RAM: 8.0 GB
Storage: 128 GB internal storage (29 GB free)
Test Results
My PC: 47 seconds
My Phone: 17 seconds
My disk can read gigabytes per second. I would expect a launch time under 5 seconds. Under no circumstances should I be getting performance this bad compared to my phone. I can launch Java Minecraft faster than this on my PC. From what I understand about Bedrock, that should not be normal.

I know "my game slow" bug reports are annoying, but I tried my best here to gather fair measurements and provide relevant information. I really think there is a genuine problem here. I'm happy to continue testing and provide anything else that may help.

It Happens to me too. My phone, iphone 11, can launch minecraft in about 10 seconds, while it takes nearly a minute on my xbox one X, which really should not happen.

This happens to me as well. My Samsung tablet loads Minecraft almost instantly while it takes forever to load on my computer.
This is also a case on my Xbox One X
for me it's been a while this happen, i think since 1.9.0 when i was still playing on xbox, i did try fresh install but it doesn't change anything.
i also noticed that it always try to download the profile picture of my friends/followers xbox account, which i have more than 1000 ... maybe that's why after a few days it start to be very slow again (having or not : world / RP / BH pack doesn't change anything).
also here my specs (laptop msi GP76)
i7 10870H
32gb ram ddr4 3200 MT/s
2 ssd corsair MP600 CORE XT
RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
i also have minecraft bedrock on my phone, and it takes less than 30 sec to start
as i say it's been a while it happen, i did got many different (computer) device and it still happen, so i came to the conclusion that it was something to do with my account.
Having a PC Launcher here, I can say that load times are slower than Java. Just trying to open up Settings while in the Main menu takes several seconds to load up. I also noticed that it lags other programs just being open compared to Java, where it rarely happens.
