"Create" button is grayed out and cannot be pressed when logged into an account without an Xbox Live Gold subscription until Player manually disables the "Multiplayer game" toggle
As of the 1.21.2 update today I am no longer able to select the create new game button. I am able to start the game creation process and open the screen to select the settings but on this screen I cannot hover over or select the create game button

I am unable to create new worlds in Minecraft.
I click on the green create world button and nothing happens.
I was encourage to submit a report here after contact with the Minecraft help. (Reference 6931281 - Game Performance). I attach a video below.
This has been the case for a few months now. I first noticed it in 1.21.44. I had hoped the recent update 1.21.50 /1.21.51 might fix it but it has not.
This may be related to the following bug:
but I was encouraged to report it again because it is a different platform.
I have tried unselecting multiplayer options.
I have tried deleting some saved worlds.
Other offline profiles on the same PS5 do not have this issue.
Suggestions from Minecraft helpdesk that I have also tried but did not resolve the issue:
Ensure I'm using the most recent version of Minecraft
Restore licences
Clear cache and rebuild database
Does MCPE-185261 describe your issue? Are you able to create worlds if you manually disable the multiplayer option?

Probably Relates to
MCPE-185254Can confirm that in 1.21.21 when you attempt to create a new world, even without any other changes, the create world button is not green and is not selectable. All other tabs and adjustments will work but you can not create the world in the end.
Xbox series X, can't create New worlds Online & Offline
I got the same issue. When creating a world, you have to go to the multiplayer tab on the left and disable "multiplayer game". That should fix the problem
Even though you may have the banner that states:
You have disabled Multiplayer in Xbox Account Settings. Learn More
You still have to go to the Multiplayer tab and disable the radio button. Then the CREATE button will be green and clickable and you can now create your new world. Somewhere between 1.21.2 and 1.21.21 this changed and now must be done for each create operation.
still having this same issue with bedrock 1.21.22
But disabling multi-player, how are you suppose to play with friends?
Its simply a workaround, it is not a solution, but it may help identify the true issue to help in debugging and eventually a real solution.
This seems to be resolved for me on Xbox with 1.21.30.
This is broken again in 1.21.44, you have to disable the mutliplayer option to get the CREATE button to go green so you can create a new world in single player mode.
