There are several reports of marketplace in-game purchases (DLC) not showing up after an update.
Marketplace purchases are linked to the Xbox Live account they were bought with.
You must be logged in to the same account that you were signed in to when you made the purchase.
Please go through the following steps to try and restore your purchases:
- Check you are signed in to the same XBL account where you made the original purchase, then try to access your DLC.
- On iOS, press the Restore Purchases button
- If that does not work, try reinstalling the game:
- Backup your MinecraftWorlds folder (if you want to save your worlds) (Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds)
- Uninstall MCPE
- Delete the com.mojang folder (Device storage > games > com.mojang)
- Reinstall MCPE
- Sign in to your XBL account
- If reinstalling the game and signing in still does not work, then you may have an issue with your account or billing, you will need to contact Mojang Customer Support directly, or the store where you made the purchase originally.

Followed the instructions, uninstalled on windows 10, reinstalled, logged in using the windows store account and xbox live account (same account) and i still don't have access to the fallout mashup pack. Do have access to all the texture packs just not the mashup pack. I hadn't purchased any of them from the marketplace. All of them were purchased prior to the market place being introduced
I am using Minecraft PE on an iPad and have also lost the fallout mashup. It was purchased via the minecraft app on 6 May 2017. We do not sign in to Xbox live within the app. The latest update has locked the worlds previously saved. I have tried the restore purchase button in the app and restarted the iPad but this has not helped. I look forward to this being resolved. Thanks
Followed these same instructions on vr 1.1.1 and still can't access Roman mashup or fallout mashup.
My son is using Minecraft PE on an iPod and lost the Greek Mythology mashup, Fallout mashup, and Chinese Mythology mashup. They were all purchased this year but they are now locked. We do not sign in to xBox live within the app. Please help.
Nope, this does not work. Soooo... since I have a few angry kids around the house, who can I yell at to get this fixed? Or at the very least, how do I get my $$$ back? For the record, the account in question is an iOS device with an XBOX linked account. All other purchases work fine, other than the Roman Mash-up.
The Roman Mash-Up in our house became "locked" again 2-3 days ago. It was fine until that time.
Until this is fixed, our house won't be purchasing any more of these, because I'm not purchasing something that will work for 3 months, then fail forever.

The "store" where the purchase was originally made was from within the iOS MCPE application. Whom do you exactly expect me to complain to? And will this be a regular occurrence with each MCPE update? Usually, when something is purchased, it stays purchased and I don't have to keep "phoning home" to report such things.
These purchases were made before we used an Xbox account. They were made through the ios app store.
I had also made these purchases without an Xbox account through the play store and they're gone as gone I even have my order history to prove I've paid.
Me too. I am waiting to see if it gets fixed before I ask Apple for my money back. We lost the Chinese Mythology pack. Frustrating.
Thank you for FINALLY realizing that this was a problem. I was so annoyed that this was misunderstood as a simple login issue. Hopefully you fix this soon in an update. I had many worlds I was working on now inaccessible. I was looking through many bad rating in the App Store with almost all of them being about this bug. Anyways please get this fixed SOON. Thanks.
UPDATE: MCPE 1.1.2 FIXES THIS ISSUE.
For clarification: Mashup packs purchased prior to 1.1.0 show as unpurchased in 1.1.1. Restore purchase does not fix. Logout and relogin xboxlive does not fix. Restore purchase after this does not fix. Uninstall/reinstall does not fix. Any further combinations of login or restore does not fix. Contacting Mojang Customer Support does not fix, they tell you that the purchases show ok and they can't help what the app is doing.Fixed for me on windows 10 with 1.1.2

I had the same issue, I lost the Chinese mythology pack. I had purchased it on my iPad, and separately on my AppleTV, prior to 1.1. It is showing as not purchased on my iPad and iPhone, but it is showing as purchased on the AppleTV, ever since 1.1.1. Restore purchase does not fix it, and removing Minecraft from my iPad and reinstalling didn't fix it.
There doesn't seem to be any kind of customer support for the Marketplace, nor any record of any purchases. I reached out to Apple App Store for support, but they directed me to Mojang.
I have purchased the fallout mashup pack, the chinese mythology mashup pack and the greek mythology mashup pack on my ipad mini. It shows up as locked and asks me to purchase it if I want to use it. I have a receipt from apple and my apple account balance shows I have paid them. Eversince the update 1.1.1, I am unable to access my packs, even though I have deleted and reinstalled. Please solve this problem ASAP, thanks!! I am on IOS 10.3.2 and using MCPE 1.1.1 on an IPAD MINI.
FURTHER NOTE: My Chinese and Greek Mythology packs also got locked, but I got a full refund from Microsoft. Since I had already purchased about $30 worth of coins before the update, I went ahead and repurchased both these packs with coins. At first, everything was fine, but now there is a little wrinkle.
Every time I first log in to the game, my Chinese and Greek worlds are locked. But if I go into the Marketplace, where they show as "Owned", when I exit it they are now unlocked. In other words, I have to enter the store every time I want to unlock these mash-up packs or their skins.
I also have a problem accessing a purchased mash-up on my iPad. I purchased 3 in the past month and one of them, Greek Mythology, is now locked after one of the recent updates. I tried both restoring purchases and reinstalling and neither worked. All 3 were purchased through my Apple account. Any way to get it back without having to pay again?
This seems to be partially fixed in 1.1.2.
Steps to reproduce:
In short, the map you purchased is only unlocked if you have signed into XBL.
@PHO: I'm always logged into Xbox Live by default on my laptop. Every time I start the game it automatically logs me in. Still, the two mashup packs I had trouble with, the Chinese and Greek Mythology mashups, are always locked every time I first start a game. The only way to unlock them is to enter the store (where they are both marked correctly as "Owned"), and once I exit the store, the two games I have with these packs are now unlocked, and I can now use the skins from those packs.

All the mashups that I bought previously are 'unlocked' (on my ipad) like before after today's minecraft update (1.1.2) THANKS!!!
I'm still having to enter and exit the store to unlock my mashup packs.
Resolving this issue as fixed as of 1.1.2.50.
Losthero14 (my daughter) purchased the Greek mashup pack, and it worked for a while, but is still locked as of today. You say you have resolved this, but not for us....
Apologies, when I went back and signed into the shop it finally unlocked the Greek pack. Thanks
@Paula Garlic: You might have to enter and exit the store each time you want to unlock the mashup pack. I have to do this every time I restart the game to unlock the Greek and Chinese mashup packs. So it's gone from a serious problem to a minor annoyance, but it's definitely an improvement.
Further note to devs: When I first fire up my laptop in the morning, and launch Minecraft, the "Signing in ..." notice appears in the bottom left. After a few seconds, I'm logged in to X-Box live and when I check my worlds, nothing is locked and everything is fine.
However, every other time I restart the game without rebooting the computer, and I don't get the "Signing in ..." notification because I'm already logged in, the packs are locked again and I have to enter and exit the store to unlock them.
Why is this marked as "Resolved"? It's just partially fixed with a known workaround (logging out, then back in).

I bought three mash up packs a long time ago and for some reason it’s reverted to trial version again
I purchased a bunch of Halloween related maps on my xbox one, all of them have been played just fine up until a few minutes ago when they all became locked. I went to unlock them which told me I needed to purchase the packs for that map. I don't know what to do.
@Autumn. Many people had this problem, myself included, and it lasted for a couple of hours. It was apparently system-wide, and has since been resolved. Our packs and skins are now unlocked. I hope they are for you as well. If not, try restarting your game, or logging out of Xbox Live and logging back in again.
My problem is that on iOS i have the greek mythology mashup pack unlocked and was signed into my xbox live account, however, when I go onto minecraft on my laptop in the same xbox live account the market place doesnt show that I even own the pack. Is this a similar issue as as everyone else?
Heather O'C - It would be worth getting in touch with Mojang Customer Support directly, as this might be an issue they can help resolve. Is it possible that this was a pack that was purchased before the Marketplace was introduced? If so, then it may not be a pack that is eligible to roam cross-platform.
