I've been playing in realms for a few months, and haven't played much in my worlds, of wich I have five. I last entered them a couple of weeks ago. Tonight, when I tried playing in them, in each and every world I restarted at the world spawn with no items and no levels. My builds are okay, or they seem to be from a cursory inspection, but I've lost everything in my inventory, and everything I had been holding and wearing and all my xp from the last time I played.
When exiting a realm and entering a world, in the world I lose all my stuff and levels and restart asspawn. When exiting a realm and entering a world, in the world I lose all my stuff and levels and restart at spawn.
The Norse texture pack I use in my realm has the character figure way off center in the inventory screen. to the point where the bottom of the legs are in behind the inventory rather than in the window. So far it doesn't happen in any other pack, but I have 17 different packs, and I've only checked 4.
I've included a screenshot.
Also, the frames around every item in the inventory are glitching weirdly, not only being very thick, but changing and shifting weirdly. I've included a video clip.
(I originally added this to the comments instead of here.)

Addendum to Norse texture pack problems: The Store page is blank with the Norse pack. I've attached another clip. I can let it sit for minutes, and the store won't show up. I've checked 4 other texture packs, and the store will show up for them, but not the Norse pack.
2nd addendum to the Norse texture pack problems: The book icon in the enchanting table pop up window is also way off-center. Instead of being centered in the spot above the lapis and enchantable item slots, it's partially obscuring the lapis slot. (see pic)
In the Norse Texture pack, the "paper doll" is way off center in the inventory screenThere are a few problems specific to the Norse texture pack
To duplicate: Be in survival mode, on a pc using a mouse and keyboard (I don't know if this glitch exists for Xbox or Xbox controller for pc). Find deep water. Aim the crosshair straight down. Press W. Instead of swimming straight down, like you used to be able to do (and still can in Java Minecraft), you will move forward laterally, only sinking very slowly to the bottom. The video clips show how it takes 30 seconds to slowly spiral down from a 61 elevation to the bottom at 47, mere 14 blocks. Activating sprint has no effect other than to make you move faster laterally. Activating sneak only seems to make you sink slower.
This is happening in both realms and worlds, only in survival, and is also happening to my friends who use mouse and keyboard. (I use a Logitech controller and keyboard emulator, but it's the same problem as using a keyboard and mouse.)
Because of size limitations, I've had to split the clip into two parts. Compare that slow death-spiral downward (I'm using a Respiration III helmet, or I'd be dead by the time I got back to the surface) in Win 10 Minecraft with the immediate and straight down descent that still exists in Java (and did in Win 10 before the 1.2.13 update).
Also, this is a duplicate of
MCPE-32031, which was closed as "Unable to reproduce", probably because I wasn't specific enough in my instructions on how to recreate this problem.
I recently had to reset my realm to an earlier date because someone spawned a wither at our nether hub and destroyed much of it. I tried using one of the server backups, but I was surprised to notice that the vast majority of those backups (20 or so) only go back 24 hours, with only a handful going back further, the most recent of which is for June 3rd.
The kids who spawned the wither waited two days to tell anyone, so the server backups didn't go back far enough. Fortunately, I've been making my own backups every week or so, so I was able to choose much more recent backup than June 3rd, which would have wiped out nearly everything we've built.
Is this right? Is this a bug, or a "feature". I'm only penning this here in case it's a bug, because if it's a feature, it's not a very well-thought-out or useful one. Do we really need so many backups from the last 24 hours? Personally, I'm not going to micromanage the game to that extent, and we live with our mistakes and correct them.
This is the first time I've used a backup (well, the second, as the first was to try and reset the simulation distance … which didn't work, which is a whole other issue) and would only do so in case of griefing like this. And since it might take more than 24 hours to notice it, your backup system is not very useful.
Can't we have maybe a backup every few hours for the last 24 (maybe 8 for the day) and the rest at maybe one a day for the past week, one a week for a few months, and once a month for older realms? It would use just as much memory space, maybe a lot less in most cases, and be a lot more useful for everyone.

The Norse Pack error message is gone. The Egyptian pack error message is still there.
Still getting the same error message in 1.13 for both Egyptian and Norse texture packs.
The nether portal texture for the Egyptian pack, which should be an animated, downward-scrolling version of the cyan stylize mummies from the loading screen, instead is broken up by wide blue bands running vertically down the portal.
This is happening in both the nether and the overworld, at every portal in the realm, and only in the Egyptian pack (as far as I can tell).

My Window 10/Bedrock realm,
The Defiant Lands, is currently inaccessible. I've been trying for the last hour to log in. I have 5 months left on my current subscription. My gamertag is iceman42dave.Whatever it is that has gone wrong happened at some point between 3 am west coast USA time (PDT) when I logged out, and twelve hours later, 3 pm PDT when I first tried to log back in again. It tries for a while to log in, then I'm returned to the main menu page and a popup window tells me "Failed to log in. Please try again later."

THIS IS FIXED, THANK YOU. PLEASE MARK AS RESOLVED.
I have 21 or so texture packs. They are all locked. I have a similar number of skin packs. Also locked. And my 360 coins are gone. I only have access to the three texture packs that have been marked with a (P) for some time now: City Pack, Fantasy Pack, and Natural Pack.
I went to make a bunch of dispensers, and like I normally do, grabbed some from the drops chest of my skeleton grinder. The crafting table didn't accept or even recognize those bows, and in order to make the dispensers, I had to craft brand new bows.
Is this a bug, or a feature in response to the problem of the crafting table using your enchanted bow from your quickbar (even right out of your hand) when making dispensers?
For the record, all of the bows I tried using to make dispensers (after putting my enchanted bow in my ender chest for safe keeping … learned that one the hard way) were obtained since the 1.13 update, and were not holdovers from the previous version.

David Frost: I think you were just unlucky. I did a full test on 64 cows each, without Looting and with Looting I, II, and III. I even repeated all that with stone, iron, and diamond swords. With one exception (iron sword with Looting I and Looting II), all results showed that Looting levels incrementally increased drops of both leather and beef. On retesting the exception it conformed to the expected results. So I'm pretty sure Looting affects cows correctly, either alone or in combination with Sharpness V. However, if you find a consistent shortfall of beef drops over time, I guess it's possible it might be caused by interference from some other enchantment, or some condition unrelated to enchantments.
I also tested killing 32 endermen each without Looting and with levels I, II, and III. Each level increased the maximum number of ender pearls dropped as intended. Except for Level I, it also increased the total number of pearls I got from all 32. The exception is that I got the same number of total drops without Looting and with Looting I, but this is not surprising because Looting I is only a small improvement and I only tested 32 endermen. Remember that Looting doesn't increase the chance of drops, only the number of items dropped when the die rolls in your favor.
David Frost I think Euwill Eusebio was just checking the possibility of getting those enchantments in the same book in 1.13. We're aware that it happens in 1.12 versions and lower, we're just testing to see if it has been completely fixed in the beta or not.

I've had this problem as well. My village was decimated. My village went from over a dozen adults and numerous kids to just three adults. I had to babysit them for a few days until they started spawning. Solved the problem by surrounding the village area with a cobblestone wall, making sure parts were high enough on the uneven terrain so nothing could jump over them, then torchlit the heck out of the whole area. Set up a couple of iron golems (the earlier ones having also been killed in the update, or something) to patrol the village, and it is once again thriving. I now have two clerics, two cartographers, two librarians, a host of farmer types, some whiteshirted butchers and unshirted smith-types, not to mention lots of ugly babies with beards.
I've had this happen several times just in my last play session. It seems to happen more frequently in the Nether while fighting on soulsand.
Yep, I've had this same problem. The bed works fine, but it just looks ... skeletal and unfinished.
I noticed this yesterday with a brownshirted farmer villager staring at a floating beet for the longest time. I went over and picked the thing up and it finally moved off.
One of my friends went off in my world to spawn the wither and kill it himself while I was busy mining for diamonds. The lag got so bad in my game that I couldn't play any more and had to shut down. I restarted in peaceful mode, despawning the wither.
When I went to join him in the Nether to see what had happened and what had caused my game to slow nearly to a stop, there were blocks of netherrack everywhere, enough to fill my three-hopper furnace to capacity and then some. Not to mention stacks of gravel and soul sand.
We haven't tried spawning the wither since.
I don't know it this is somehow related, but it used to be you could put single doors on backwards, or flush against the right side (from the inside) of the doorway and zombies wouldn't bang on your door any more, because the door was actually closed when it was flush against the right doorway wall, leaving the doorway itself clear and open, and when the doorway was blocked by the door, the door was technically open, so the zombies wouldn't bang on an "open door".
I only discovered this trick a week before the update, and it worked in keeping the zombies from banging on the doors. However, I never used this in villages, because I wanted the villagers to be able to close the doors behind them.
Since the 1.1 update, this trick no longer works, and the zombies bang on the doors no matter what side the door is hinged on.
It used to be cows, pigs, sheep and horses getting stuck in corners, even the golems I put in the pens to keep my animals from getting hijacked by zombie babies. I solved the problem with the larger livestock by planting trees in the corners they were clogging.
Since the 1.1 update, it's only happening with chickens for me. And my chicken pens are too small to have a tree in every single corner, since my pens are L or T shaped (more visually interesting than a box) and have a bunch or corners, each with a chicken stuck in it.
@Sarah McCoy: I think the weird head thing is multiple animals occupying the same space. You notice it when you harvest them and have to kill multiple copies and get multiple drops in order to clear the space.
Can I post video captures of this happening, or only pics? I can make videos of it later tonight and post them if this will help. I don't know how to add a test world, or even what that is, sorry.
Okay, here are three clips. The first two show damage happening while riding over the bridge, two half-heart hits each time. It only happens in the one direction, and only the first time I cross the bridge in a game session without restarting. I can cross back over the bridge and not take damage. There's a third bridge where it also happens, but only rarely, and I couldn't get it to do it while making a clip.
The third clip is just to show that it doesn't happen over the arched stone bridges I mentioned.
Weird. It's not critical, but it is a little annoying. Thanks for looking into it.
I will try it tomorrow (or later today, actually) without the fantasy texture pack to see if it still happens. I wonder why it doesn't happen on the bridges in the third clip. Maybe because they are higher than 3 blocks above the water?
HAHAHA! Very interesting. I clicked on the "Test Rider Damage" link, expecting a video clip, and got the unexpected opening of my game and the loading of the test world. And there is definitely some damage going on.
Yeah, as "problems" go, I admit that it doesn't even rank going on a list of problems. I just thought somebody might like to know. I just wish the default enchantment included Unbreaking III.
@Stephen Smith: Thanks for pointing out that it happens with every item. If the enchantments are useful, this might actually come in handy in some cases.
I've had one side of jack o'lanterns be completely dark. And blocks 2 spaces from a torch be completely dark until I broke and replace them, then they and the surrounding area would finally render with the correct light level.
I sometimes get the same problem. I have to restart the game, and then the blank area will render correctly. It's a pain.
I have the same problem with the Win 10 version on my Dell laptop, in different worlds and with different texture packs. The bobber animation doesn't bob, making it very difficult to fish, and almost impossible to fish in the rain. Instead of the bobbing with the concentric splash rings, you get the merest hint of a lowering of the bobber. Half the time I reel in at what time I think I should, I get nothing.
I've noticed the same thing. My villagers won't farm the outlying crop patches I added. and they won't go in the houses further away from the village center, the well, and instead crowd into a few houses, which they leave the doors to open, of course (eye roll).
I also had to modify the well with half slabs to keep the villagers from jumping in it. Now they just gather around the well and pogo stick up and down.
@Stan Reesink: I bought the Chinese and Greek Mythology mashup packs through the Microsoft Store last month and they both got locked after the update. I was able to get my money back from the Microsoft Store customer service. I've heard similar things from people who bought packs from the Apple store. A good thing, since Mojang doesn't seem to have any customer service.
Mojang also doesn't offer receipts with this new marketplace. No proof of purchase whatsoever. I guess we're just supposed to trust them. I trusted them not to lose my mashup packs, and look where that got me.
If you bought the through the Microsoft Store, you might be able to get your money back through them. I got a full refund from the Microsoft Store for the Chinese and Greek Mythology packs that Mojang locked me out of after the most recent update.
Fortunately, Microsoft not only keeps a record of your purchases in your account, but also sends out e-mail receipts. I guess Mojang has never heard of the term "proof of purchase" or just really doesn't care if we have no recourse to getting ripped off.
I hear that Apple Store customer have also been able to get refunds via the Apple Store.
I've read where some people have gotten refunds via the Apple Store. I got a full refund for two mashup packs from the Microsoft Store.
Since Mojang doesn't believe in customer support, you might have to seek refunds from the Microsoft or Apple Stores, if you originally bought the packs from there. I got a refund from Microsoft for two mashup packs I got locked out of. And some people, I've read, have gotten refunds from the Apple Store.
You can fish for more saddles, in case you didn't know. It works pretty well, and you should have a new saddle within 10 minutes or so of fishing.
I got refunds from the Microsoft Store on two mashup packs I had locked on me. I've heard people have been getting refunds from the Apple Store, too.
Have the same problem. I've taken to keeping my maps in a particular order in my map chest so I know which one is which without having to open it.
FURTHER NOTE: My Chinese and Greek Mythology packs also got locked, but I got a full refund from Microsoft. Since I had already purchased about $30 worth of coins before the update, I went ahead and repurchased both these packs with coins. At first, everything was fine, but now there is a little wrinkle.
Every time I first log in to the game, my Chinese and Greek worlds are locked. But if I go into the Marketplace, where they show as "Owned", when I exit it they are now unlocked. In other words, I have to enter the store every time I want to unlock these mash-up packs or their skins.
@PHO: I'm always logged into Xbox Live by default on my laptop. Every time I start the game it automatically logs me in. Still, the two mashup packs I had trouble with, the Chinese and Greek Mythology mashups, are always locked every time I first start a game. The only way to unlock them is to enter the store (where they are both marked correctly as "Owned"), and once I exit the store, the two games I have with these packs are now unlocked, and I can now use the skins from those packs.
I'm still having to enter and exit the store to unlock my mashup packs.
@Paula Garlic: You might have to enter and exit the store each time you want to unlock the mashup pack. I have to do this every time I restart the game to unlock the Greek and Chinese mashup packs. So it's gone from a serious problem to a minor annoyance, but it's definitely an improvement.
Further note to devs: When I first fire up my laptop in the morning, and launch Minecraft, the "Signing in ..." notice appears in the bottom left. After a few seconds, I'm logged in to X-Box live and when I check my worlds, nothing is locked and everything is fine.
However, every other time I restart the game without rebooting the computer, and I don't get the "Signing in ..." notification because I'm already logged in, the packs are locked again and I have to enter and exit the store to unlock them.
Further note to this: If you sign out of your X-Box account through the X-Box app, then launch Minecraft and get the "Signing in ..." notification, and you sign in to your account via the popup window that the Minecraft main menu opens, your DLC will all be unlocked. However, if you close the game and reopen it, once again your DLC is locked and you have to enter the store to open it. Or sign out of your X-Box account and start the whole process over again.
At least, that's the way it works for me.
I've had the same problem in Windows 10 Edition, but it's intermittent. One day it'll be working fine, the next day I'll get the purple and yellow pixelated thing instead of a compass.
The 1.2, "Better Together" update appears to have fixed this problem; everything is unlocked from the get-go and stays that way.
I have a world originally made under Win 10 Beta, and I recently started up again in it using the newest 1.2 update. My horses from before the 1.1.5 update have always kept their names, but everything from that point on will not keep its name.
I tried naming another horse today, and when I exited the re-entered the world, the horse had lost its name.
However, on a friend's realm, I have two cats and two dogs that have kept their names up until the 1.2 update. Sadly, after the 1.2 update, this realm was lost, with everyone, including the owner, was locked out and couldn't get back in and Mojang could or would do nothing to help us get it back.
So I can't say whether or not this bug still exists in this realm, as the realm no longer exists.
But I just tonight checked on another realm, and my horse lost its name not an hour and a few logouts from when I named it.
What's the point of nametags anymore? Everything I name has the names disappear off them when I re-log.
Had it happen in 1.5 and beyond in Survival. I had diamond armor, Fire Resistance and Resistance, not to mention Fire Resistance potion. I was killed in one hit by Blazes on a few different occasions in two different realms.
I have the same problem in my tower in a realm set the Survival Hard. Every level of the tower is lit by four glowstones in the ceiling and torches on the walls and each is no more than 3-4 blocks from another, and the ceilings are only 4 blocks high. But I still turn around and am surprised by the occasional zombie or creeper.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the 1.2 update being so incredibly DARK. I had brightness set to 10 before the update, and I have it set to 60 now, and still it seems darker.
Nametags don't even work anymore. Everything you name has the name disappear from it when you exit the game.
You should re-open this one. It's most definitely not "fixed".
Have two maps in a realm that are labelled "Unknown Map" after having left them in my Ender Chest.
Windows 10, 1.2 update.
I'm having mobs spawning inside my houses, where everything is lit with torches that are spaced no more the 4-5 blocks apart, with glowstones in the ceilings as well.
I have a farm with the usual barnyard animals in four different pens, and it's my usual way of making enough food for everyone in our realm.
I don't even need to harvest the animals in the pens anymore. I just run around killing off all the animals that spawn on the grounds of my compound and can get stacks of meat.
It's great, but it seems a little excessive.
I guess Thomas Wolfe was right: You Can't Go Home Again.
I agree. My base is nearest the spawn point and I regularly help new people to the realm. Last night I had to talk to a new player using signs. I can't talk at all to my friends who are thousands of blocks away.
Before he reached my base, this new kid had taken to calling me "Hashtag" because he thought I was typing all hashtags on purpose.
I've gotten a few saddles since the update, but no nametags.
Also noticeable with Zombie Pigmen. I used to get at least a nugget with every couple of kills, sometimes a gold sword as well. It seems like the gold nugget drops for them has also dropped off, but I'll have to hunt down more of them to know for sure.
I've noticed the same thing, which is weird because all the doors in my village are literally stuck in the open position because villagers have forgotten how to close doors behind themselves.
And with iron doors, I'm getting a weird dispenser sound, like the arrow-firing traps in jungle temples, tacked on to the end of the opening and closing sound.
It doesn't seem to be affecting the meat drops for livestock, which are still what I've become accustomed to with Looting III
We have the same problem in our realm. We have certain areas where doors are disappearing. I had four doors making up an armoire, and they are all gone. When I try to replace them, or place any door, wood or iron, anywhere in the immediate vicinity, the door disappears a split second after I place it and reappears in my hotbar.
Minecraft 10_14_2017 8_49_38 PM.mp4
I go outside, and I can place doors anywhere, but inside is a no-go. It's the same at my friends' place where they have refurbished a Woodland Mansion. Doors have disappeared from doorways, and as chair backs and elsewhere and cannot be replaced.
My friends and I have had the same problem in our realm. Doors have disappeared from doorways or from things they were used to build (chairs, armoires) without even having been clicked on. And no doors can be placed in the vicinity of where they disappeared. The placed door appears for a split second, then disappears and is back in the hotbar slot from which it was placed. I provided this clip in another thread, but here it is again:
Minecraft 10_14_2017 8_49_38 PM.mp4
I'm having the same problem in a realm on Survival Hard. I have no problem with Survival being Hard. In fact, I prefer it that way. But it shouldn't be "Survival Throw the Rules Out the Window" and have my 10-block diameter tower with its four-block high stories lit by four glowstones placed two squares apart in the ceilings and torches on every wall somehow being susceptible to creeper and other mob spawning. I have more lights in this place than Times Square and I'm still repairing creeper damage.
Yeah, it's happening for me on one realm and not another, and not at all in my worlds.
@ Eric Dies: Okay, that makes sense. I can't place blocks in my tower except in the basement, because the floor blocks for the upper stories don't have anything beneath them. I just rechecked and I can place doors on the floor blocks above the glowstones I have in the ceiling of the floor below them.
And my friend's doors that disappeared are likewise on single blocks with nothing but air below them.
Good catch.
Oops. Thanks, guys. I think you might be right. I think those are redstone lamps on the left and elsewhere throughout my tower. I built this thing months ago and I've already forgotten. LOL.
I'll have to check later. There's not much, if any, difference between redstone lamps and glowstone in the texture pack I'm using (John Smith Legacy, Jim Stonecraft Edition).
Yeah, my Windows 10 realm has the same problem. I have nearly 90 nametags from before, but ever since the "Glitchy Together" update, I haven't added a single nametag. And I do a lot of fishing: every time it rains I take a break from construction and fish the whole time it rains.
A player in another report noticed that this happens when the block the door is placed on has only open air beneath it. If that block the door is placed on has another block beneath it, the door will stay in place. I've confirmed this in my realm, as all the doors that have vanished are on second stories or above, with only open air beneath the blocks they'd been place on. And one set of doors elsewhere that vanished has a tunnel directly under the block they'd been placed on, and those doors had been lower in elevation than anything in my tower with the missing doors, so it's not related to the "Z", or elevation coordinate per se.
Thanks, guys. Yes, it's not a bug. I was using the wrong thing. Like I said, there's no visible difference between glowstones and redstone lanterns in the texture pack I am using in this realm.
Is there a way for the Reporter (me, in this case) to mark the issue as resolved, maybe some kind of "oops, nevermind: I'm a dumbass" button?
Mega_Spud asked me to include my observations from a duplicate report I added, so I just copypasta'd the whole thing, as I don't have time right now to boil it down:
I'm playing in a realm, and I had just checked on all my animals last night, as I'd been gone from the game for a few days, and had been at another location a about 2000 blocks away for a few days before that. Everything was fine last night.
I took a long trip to my friends' place (10,000 blocks or more away, where they have refurbished a Woodland Mansion) and returned late last night. Today, when I return to the realm, EVERYTHING it seems has had some degree of despawning for no reason: horses, sheep, pigs, chickens and even a few doors. The animals are all in pens and have been fed and raised by me, the horses were saddled and my favorite had been ridden often, named twice (the nametag keeps disappearing, too, which is a separate issue), saddled and armored.
I had several different sheep of each of the four natural colors and now have a few browns, a white and a couple of grays. My horse corral has been decimated, and my favorite is also gone. My chicken and pig pens have a fraction of what they had just last night. Doors are missing from my place and my friends places as well and can't be replaced (I added this fact to a separate bug report that had already been filed on the issue.) And I'm not sure, but it sure looks like my village is deprived of more than a few villagers.
Is this because I went so far away from my farm? I ask because when my friend came to get me from the Woodland Mansion, when we got there her livestock was likewise missing.
I don't have this problem going to my second place only a couple of thousand blocks away, but does the greater distance have something to do with the despawning?
Yeah, I'm not going to rebuild all my houses to make the floors 2 blocks thick. This needs to be fixed.
It's still happening, and over the long haul, I don't get any greater loot from killing things like slimes, magma cubes or endermen with my Looting III sword than I do with my bow. I'm not even using my sword much anymore except to kill endermen, as outside of this one function, swords have become rather pointless without a working Looting III enchantment.
It's still happening. Used a nametag on a horse in a realm last night, and it was gone the first time I logged in and out (actually, the server crashed). Still waiting to see whether or not the horse itself will despawn like its predecessors.
I've been playing in realms for the last couple of months. I haven't logged into any of my worlds in a couple of weeks. Tonight I did so, and in all five worlds, I restarted at spawn and all my items and levels were gone. This absolutely sucks.
You need to edit your report and add a label to it. Click on the dropdown menu "More" and type "chat" in the box and select "chat-filter" from the menu. This will make sure it gets seen by the right person who can help you. (Probably Helen; she's great.)
It seems to happen at the base of staircases in realms for me. I haven't even come close to dying from it, however. I have Featherfalling IV on my boots, so the damage is negligible.
I've noticed the same thing in swamp biomes, which I've spent a lot of time in over the last couple of days. Suspiciously devoid of slimes.
Thank you, Mega_Spud! This worked, and all my stuff and levels are back in all my worlds. YOU ROCK!!
Yeah, I've noticed the same problem with over-fixing this. I had to travel a ridiculous distance just to find two cows. I'm still getting zombies and skeletons galore, but animals aren't spawning like they should anymore.
I can confirm this; it just happened to me last night. Diamond armor, fire resistance potion, health fully up, killed by a blaze with one fireball. And I had been hit several times by different blazes previously to this, taking only a couple of hearts damage with each hit. This is on a survival normal realm.
I've had the same thing happen when placing wooden columns at the corner of a house. I jumped up to place blocks directly underneath me, to a height of four blocks, then moved to the next corner to do the same. There was a glitch on placing the first block, and when I finished, I looked back at the previous corner to find that it was at a height of FIVE blocks.
It took several times of this happening before I realized that the first block I placed on the new column was being put on the previous column over 6 blocks away.
Yep. I'm in two realms, one survival hard and one survival normal, and mob spawning is way down in both. I loved the massive spawning of mobs that followed the Glitchy Together update in hard mode, because I didn't have to rely on our blaze grinder to get levels. Now it's back to boring blaze grinding.
Not to mention, I had to travel a crazy distance just to find two cows to start a farm in a new location. And it looks like I'll have to do the same for the other animals.
Mega_Spud found a fix for me on this issue! Log out of your Xbox account and log back in. When I did this, all my stuff in all my worlds was back as it should be.
I logged out of my Xbox account, and logged back in on the Minecraft main page, if that makes any difference.
Note: this realm was successfully transferred by another player in our realm and is now being played by all of us.
Ever since a couple of updates ago, in addition to no slimes spawning in swamps any more, cows and horses have stopped spawning in my Survival Normal realm. I've searched in a 500 block radius, through a variety of biomes, including plains, around my base over the course of a few days, and have only managed to find one cow and a previously saddled horse that someone lost. And I haven't seen many pigs, either. Sheep and chickens are not plentiful, but still present.
Our Survival Hard realm still has spawning, but it is way down from what it was previously, and includes monsters way more often than animals, which spawn hardly at all in any biome.
Thanks, Mega_Spud! I hope you guys are also working on the related issue of nametags not sticking on named mobs, but disappearing the first time you exit and restart the game.
I can concur and confirm this bug, and it's a recent development. I might as well be typing with one finger instead of 10, the rate the keystrokes sometimes register. It also likes to throw in the odd double-letter typo at random intervals, most often at the end of a sentence.
Log out of your Xbox app and log back in, and when you enter your world, you will have all your stuff and levels back and be at the point you last left before you were reset at spawn.
Oops. I noticed you are on an iPad. I don't know if this will work for you, or even if you have an Xbox app on an Apple product.
Try logging out of the Xbox app and logging back in. It works for me.
You can't have Mending and Infinity on a bow at the same time, so if your bow already had Infinity on it, the Mending enchantment may have cancelled out. I don't know what the problem is with rods; I have made dozens of Unbreaking III, Luck of the Sea III, Lure III, Mending I rods by combining those I got from fishing.
Log out of Xbox App (or whatever you use to log in) and log back in and all your stuff and levels should be restored. Unless, perhaps, you've played too long with the levels and inventory missing and have overwritten the old save point somehow, I don't know. Whenever I've had this problem, I've always quit the game within a minute or so.
When it takes me three days (real time three days and three play sessions) just to get a pair each of cows, sheep and pigs to start a farm in my Survival Hard realm, something is seriously broken. And I have yet to find a couple of chickens.
And don't even get me started on the hours I've spent in swamp biomes trying to find a single slime so I could make a couple of leads, since you can't lead animals anywhere with food anymore. I finally had to borrow a couple of slime balls from another player.
It's not just you. I've spent hours in swamp biomes looking for a single slime so I could make leads to populate a farm in a new realm I just started in. I finally had to borrow a couple of slime balls from another player.
And don't get me started on how long it took me to find a pair of cows.
I've had it happen to me, with diamond gear on, and Fire Resistance potions and full health. One hit kills, just out of the blue.
My "Survival Hard" realms should be reclassified, because neither term applies to the pathetic joke they've turned the game into. "Survival"??? The only thing I'm in danger of dying from is sheer boredom. "Hard"? They've taken away everything that made it difficult and dumbed it down to the level of five-year-olds. Burning mobs no longer set you on fire, zombies no longer knock on your doors let alone knock them down if you use wood instead of iron. When's the last time anyone had a zombie pounding on the door?
This has been fixed, for me at least, with the latest update. I can switch freely between realms and worlds with no loss of gear and levels.
Thanks! I'll give that a try.
Same issue here in a realm, both in chat and while creating signs, on my Win 10 laptop.
It appears to be fixed, at least judging by the horse I named weeks ago that still has his name. Now if we could do something about not being able to catch nametags while fishing ...
Just had it happen to me the other day in my new realm.
@William Alexander Hahn: Yeah, I have had the same problem with my horse breeding farms. I've taken to naming the saddles. It's a pain, but it's the only way to do it these days. At least the names don't disappear anymore if you should happen to purchase a nametag for something, but they are expensive.
It's not MY update, so why are you shouting at ME? Second, your problem has nothing to do with mine, so you might want to create your own bug report so someone can notice your problem with LAN and, hopefully, fix it for you and your friends.
Best of luck to you. I know how frustrating it can be.
Addendum to Norse texture pack problems: The Store page is blank with the Norse pack. I've attached another clip. I can let it sit for minutes, and the store won't show up. I've checked 4 other texture packs, and the store will show up for them, but not the Norse pack.
This is a real problem as the Norse texture pack is my current go-to pack for two of the realms I'm playing in.
My friend fixed this by lowering the anti-aliasing in the video settings.
My friend fixed this problem by lowering the anti-aliasing in the video settings.
Minecraft 4_5_2018 11_14_20 PM.mp4
I can confirm that cocoa beans are oddly supersized with the Chroma Hills pack, as well as with the Fantasy pack. In the Norse pack they are broken apart (see clip).
My friend solved this problem by lowering the anti-aliasing in her video settings.
I can also confirm this has started happening again. I lost three out of the eight villagers I had cured from zombies while completing construction on the village to enclose it. I also lost 1 of my six horses and 4 of my 12 sheep, and the cow and pig population (which I don't keep count of) was similarly depleted.
I can confirm the oversize pods in Chroma Hills, PureBDCraft, Fantasy, Natural, City, Steampunk and Greek texture packs. The vanilla, Adventurer's Dream, Relics of the Privateers, Beyond the Lands, and Chinese texture packs are all fine. Meanwhile, in the Norse pack, the cocoa pods look like an exploded diagram view. (see clip) Minecraft 4_5_2018 11_14_20 PM.mp4
, and in the Skyrim pack the pods are normal sized, but missing parts which you can see through (see pic)
I guess the common thread here is that all the 16x texture packs are fine, with the exception of Skyrim, while the ones of higher resolution have ginormous cocoa pods. My non-marketplace texture packs (Faithful 64x, 32x, etc) also have the oversized pods, but since all my non-marketplace packs are 32x or higher, I can't verify the problem in 16x there.
For the record, I'm using the Win 10 version, 1.2.13
You have been deemed spongeworthy.
A friend of mine had the same thing (or something very similar), and fixed it by turning down the anti-aliasing in the video settings.
Moving through water with Depth Strider III is insanely fast, but swimming down doesn't work at all and is like sinking through molasses.
It's always been that way for me.
My friend had this issue and she solved it by turning down the anti-aliasing in the video settings.
This looks like an 8x texture pack, half what it should be for vanilla Minecraft.
I don't think this is a bug. From the Gamepedia Minecraft Wiki:
_"A trap horse will still trigger if the weather is clear; lightning will strike the trap horse and the four skeleton horsemen will spawn."_
It's been happening with greater frequency in my new realm, but I like the xp, so the more mobs the better as far as I'm concerned.
Are you kidding me? Everyone in my realm is having the same problem. While in deep water, point the crosshairs straight down and push "W". (are you using the Xbox controller, by chance? I'm using a Logitech controller with a keyboard emulator, but the problem exists using the keyboard as well; my friends who play with mouse and keyboard are having this problem, too.)
In the Java version, you will still swim straight down. In the Windows 10 version you will move forward laterally while ever-so-slowly sinking down. I made a video clip and it took me a full 30 seconds to go from the surface at 61 blocks to 47 blocks, a mere 14 blocks in elevation. I had to split clip in two for size reasons, and the two halves don't exactly line up, but the point is still there.
Sprinting will only move you faster laterally, you won't dive any faster. Before this latest update you could dive straight down and reach the bottom quickly by aiming the crosshairs straight down and moving forward (W, joystick, whatever) just like you still can with the Java version.
You can't swim straight down anymore (2).mp4
You can't swim straight down anymore (3).mp4
Also, you have to be in Survival mode for this. Creative mode, even if you're not flying, you can still dive down ... a lot faster than previously from what I can tell.
No worries. I just didn't explain it well enough, and that's my fault. I was glib instead of thorough. I haven't tried the experimental features yet. I spend most of my time playing in realms, and our group is reluctant to risk making those realms unstable.
I didn't know if this would be reopened, so I filed another report with a better description of the problem.
MCPE-32754Also, you can type in the first letter of the gamer tag, then hit tab to auto-fill the name.
Is this going to be fixed anytime soon? There's an underwater temple in my realm we'd like to tackle some time this century, if it's not too much to ask.
I had lost half the horses in my herd when I logged in last night into my survival hard realm. Then through the course of playing for the evening, I'd lost half the remaining herd.
These were all fed, saddled and tested horses (I have a test track for speed and jumping), two of which were named and armored.
Now, to make matters worse, horses are sinking into the ground and dying right in front of me. Solid ground, and they are just dropping into solid blocks of dirt and suffocating with only the tops of their heads visible sometimes as they take damage and die. You can hear it more much more often than you can see it.
A few of the village librarians in my realm at my base village (one I built and populated with rescued zombie villagers) offer Curse of Binding and Curse of Vanishing books, something new with the 1.2.12 update I presume, as I've never seen these books before.
I only have this problem when I have the Norse texture pack enabled. I have to change texture packs to view the store. I play the Win 10 version.
Yeah, it's fixed. You still can't swim straight down, but you can spiral down very rapidly, especially with Depth Strider III boots. I love it. Thanks.
It's happening to me in two different realms, my own survival hard realm, and my friend's creative realm, and I play Win 10 version on my laptop. I don't have pets in either of my two older worlds, so I don't know about them.
Still not fixed in the latest update (1.4.2) for Win 10. Since I use 32x or 64x texture packs, I have to switch to a 16x pack to harvest cocoa beans, as trying to do so while they are so huge invariably leads to me chopping blocks out off the tree.
Its been happening to me and all my friends as well. It doesn't always happen, but it happens most of the time, and with various texture packs.
@Dave: They disappear? That stinks. My place is surrounded by rivers and lakes.
They should program them to say something when they can't follow you, something like, "I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
@Jeffrey: It's a Survival Hard realm, no cheats, and no one is opped, not even me.
Nope. "The End" and "The End … Again …" are both still grayed out.
Thanks for posting this! I dredged a section of river to make a kelp farm, but kelp won't grow there because the newly dredged areas aren't source blocks. This could possibly be an exploit I can use.
It's happening currently to me on Win 10 version, with both the Chroma Hills and Norse texture packs. Every time I get booted from my realm, the background animation for the title screen is replaced by a black screen.
I'm having the same problem, but not only is there no eating sound, when finished eating it lets out a belch.
This problem also happens intermittently with my realm. Sometimes the button is there, sometimes it isn't and I have to pause and go into the settings menu to invite someone.
This is still happening in 1.5.0, both in the Norse and Chroma Hills packs. I haven't checked anything else.
It's happening with realms, too. When I leave to respond to an Xbox app message, if it takes longer than a few seconds, I get booted from the realm. And forget about responding to any Discord messages.
I'm afraid to check, because there's an even bigger problem. When you reset the realm to an earlier version, you lose everything you were carrying, all your gear and inventory, and restart at spawn with nothing and no levels.
I can verify this. A friend and I were both one-shot killed by a ghast in my realm within a couple days of each other. We both have 2 pieces of armor with Protection IV, and one each of Fire Resistance IV and Blast Protection IV. I was killed at very close range by one that snuck up behind me. She was picked off at a distance about a dozen blocks.
This is happening to us in my realm all the time, but it's not just me, the realm creator, leaving that causes everyone to get booted. I can't verify it, but it seems like when the first person to enter a playing session leaves, everyone gets booted out and it takes several minutes to be able to log back in.
This is a Windows 10 Bedrock realm, not a Java realm, and it's been happening ever since the Aquatic Update part 1, but it got MUCH worse with Part 2.
I used to have this same problem, but it appears to have been fixed. I haven't noticed it in quite some time, since the earliest aquatic update.
Did you place then on the shore of an ocean biome? Apparently they need beaches, and Minecraft narrowly defines beaches as a stretch of sand on the shoreline of an ocean biome.
A friend had the same problem with eggs not hatching when she placed the eggs on a riverbank. However, later on some other riverbank, a baby turtle generated at random, so I don't know ...
I don't have this problem, but when I changed to the Norse texture pack, I no longer get the aquatic background but the Norse one. I don't know if this will help anybody, but if the problem is the aquatic background (which I get with Chroma Hills), maybe, if you can somehow manage it on another device in some way, a change of texture packs might be a workaround.
It also seems to happen when the first person in a group to log on leaves.
I'm all for having more mobs, but the drowned have replaced everything on my Win 10 realm. And in plains areas they fall into water holes and get stuck there and I've found as many as a dozen drowned all crowded together in a 10x10 water hole, and the same in adjacent water holes.
With the horrible lag we've been experiencing in my Bedrock realm since the first Aquatic Update (which got worse with the second), we aren't able to walk and place or plant. Every other block gets skipped. I don't have a problem with harvesting, but plants sometimes have to be placed twice because they will disappear after planting and end up back in my inventory.
And placing blocks for a large castle build recently required me to place them one at a time slowly, because walking back and placing is no longer possible without every other block disappearing and ending up back in my inventory.
I'm sure the place is big enough that it has to sit on the edge of a chunk somewhere. There's another pen beyond this one that had other horses in it, but I took them out as they were melting into the blocks on the bank of a pond and suffocating. You could hear them taking damage, screaming and dying. The horses, mostly colts, will also merge into walls, haybales, the surrounding cliffs, suffocate, audibly take damage, scream and die. I lost one quite recently this way.
And that's just what happens when I've been in the corral. I leave for a time and they despawn; precisely how I don't know. The herd seen in the pics is missing about a quarter of its previous number in just a few days. I keep breeding more and they keep disappearing. All of the vanished horses have been tamed and saddled, and several of them were named with nametags, and a couple were wearing armor when they despawned.
A previous herd of about two dozen despawned until only the bays were left (brown horses with black manes); all other colors vanished. The bays in this pic are the only ones left from the original herd. None of the bays were named, but all are saddled. I don't know why this one color seems to be immune to despawning, or even if it is. Maybe it's just coincidence.
"Stable" version? LOL.
Thanks for the word on the suffocation glitch fix. That, at least, is heartening.
I guess I can put the best horses in the two stalls in the barn, for now, provided the stalls are not on a chunk border. I'll have to make my next barn a lot bigger. Thanks for your help, Mega_Spud.
I recently reset my realm using a backup from my computer. I first set the simulation distance to 6 chunks before uploading the backup (we've been having terrible lag issues, or I would have set it to 10). Yesterday, after a few days of us playing on the realm, I downloaded a copy of the realm. I checked the settings of this copy, and it's set to 4 chunks.
I've noticed that all the copies I've downloaded of my realm have the tick distance set to 4, even though I've increased it three times, the first when I created the realm, and two more times when I've had to reset the realm to an earlier backup.
From the Wiki:
"Mobs cannot see through most solid blocks, including semi-transparent blocks such as ice, glass, or glass panes."
I have the same problem with purpur blocks. I have a dozen that won't stack with the other purpur blocks.
I killed two more last night with my enchanted sword, and the second one dropped two pearls, finally. So one out of 14 dropped pearls, and this one also dropped the block of dirt it was carrying, so it might not be that the blocks they carry count as drops.
I've gotten better results in another just-started realm with a normal iron sword, 5 killed, two total pearls, with two dropping one each. Admittedly, this is a small sample size, but this has been going on for quite a while now and it's been very noticeable.
Using a Looting III sword on an enderman used to almost guarantee an ender pearl drop, often more than one. I hunt down every enderman I see in the overworld, in a few different realms, some without Looting III swords (new realms) and some with Looting III swords (established realms) and ender pearls are just as scarce in one as in the other.
In fact, in my established realm, I've killed as many as a dozen endermen with a Looting III diamond sword (Sharpness V, Unbreaking III, Mending, if that matters) without seeing a single pearl.
I don't know if this makes a difference, but it, if memory serves, it seems these endermen were all carrying blocks of dirt or grass, and the only drop I got from them is the block they had been carrying. I haven't noticed if I get pearls from endermen NOT carrying blocks yet, but I'll update this if I do. (Note: after 13 consecutive endermen without a single pearl, the 14th enderman I killed recently was carrying a block and dropped not only it, but two pearls … finally.)
I revisited a realm I had been playing in last year and I had almost a full shulker box of stacks of ender pearls. In my realm I started this year, on which I have played maybe half the time I spent on that one so far, my surplus ender pearl count stands at three-and-a-half stacks, and I think I've killed a lot more endermen here because I know how to kill them a lot better than I did then.
I've gotten better results in another just-started realm with a normal iron sword, 5 killed, two total pearls, with two dropping one each. Admittedly, this is a small sample size, but this has been going on for quite a while now and it's been very noticeable.

I also have a similar problem with magma cubes. Only the first cube, the biggest one, will drop any magma cream, usually 2-4, and none of the smaller sizes seem to.
Yes, leather has been scarce, too, even with Looting III. It seems to work only on meat, which accumulates at about 3-4 times the rate of leather.
And add leather to the list of things that Looting doesn't help with. I'm killing cows in a new realm with an iron sword, and I get the same paltry amount of leather as I do when using Looting III. At least half the cows don't drop any leather at all.
Meanwhile, I'm up to my ears in steaks. (I wish I had that problem in real life … LOL)
I've had fallen trees generate from bonemeal. It's rare, but it does happen. I regularly incorporate tree farms in my homesteads, so I don't have to travel so far for rarer woods like acacias and jungle. I've yet to spawn a fallen jungle tree, or giant spruce. Now THAT I would like to see. LOL
Yes, it's crazy. I like lots of mobs to kill, but having Drowned to the exclusion of all else is hurting gameplay. I've found as many as a dozen in a small pool, all clumped together, unable to get out. It's like the current Java version and squids spawning in every puddle of water everywhere.
No wonder my realm is having serious lag problems since the Aquatic Updates.
Depending on the lag in my realm, clicking and holding will skip blocks, sometimes every other blocks. This has made building big structures a tiring and taxing "one-potato, two-potato" affair.
In other words, they're not supposed to see you.
I did my first culling of my herd of cows since the latest bug fix update. 32 cows killed, 1 stack and 19 of leather, and one stack and 54 of raw beef. I can't remember the last time I had such good luck obtaining leather. It's usually been 40-50 kills to get a half a stack of leather.
I know this is a sample size of one, so it might be just pure dumb luck. I'll keep trying and post the results here.
I tested endermen and magma cubes and still no difference. Killed 8 endermen with 1 drop of 2 pearls, and then 4 large magma cubes (and all the resulting smaller ones) and 2 of lesser size, netting 8 magma creams from two of the largest cubes; none of the smaller cubes drop anything.
Still not resolved for me in my Bedrock realm. My two wolves still aren't responding.
Leather drops appear to have been fixed, at least for me. I've done a lot of cow harvesting in three different realms, with looting swords and without, and the drops with looting swords have been greatly increased. Quite satisfactory.
Endermen are still hit or miss, though. Looting increases the number of pearls if and when they drop, but seems to have no effect on the chances of getting a drop. And magma cubes still only seem to drop magma cream with the biggest cubes; it's incredibly rare that a smaller cube will drop anything.
I can concur with Mega_Spud on the wither skulls and tridents. I had two wither skull drops in a row yesterday, and that's NEVER happened. And we're up to our ears in tridents in a couple of realms, so I didn't know that this was ever a problem. LOL
Still no official word on this. I wish they'd have some sort of indicator on the realms info and settings page for what the simulation distance was set to. Better yet, have the realm owner be able to set the distance without having to go through the rigmarole of having to download a copy of the realm, change the settings, and upload the changed copy. I'm too afraid of having a repeat of the problem with losing all my stuff and levels and restarting at spawn to ever be comfortable changing settings this way.
This does appear to be fixed! It's been weeks, and I've been working on another build away from my horses, frequently travelling in the Nether, which is what seems to have triggered the despawning in the past. So far, all horses present and accounted for. Idaho (the horse, not the state) thanks you all. LOL
Also … I chuckle every time I read "puppy horse".
It doesn't appear to be happening anymore, so I guess this has been resolved.
This issue appears to be fixed for me for everything but magma cubes. Still only get 1-3 magma creams for the biggest cubes, then nothing for all the smaller ones.
Leather from cows is sometimes now more plentiful than the meat. Ender pearls drop much more frequently with every endermen killed; getting no pearls is the exception rather than the norm.
Wither skeleton skull drops have gone completely bonkers; I have 47 skulls in just the last few weeks, and I almost exclusively kill them with a bow, so Looting doesn't even enter the picture. In almost two years of playing, I've had maybe a dozen skulls or so in all my realms and worlds COMBINED.
It just happened to me again last week. I'm wearing diamond armor with Protection IV on both the chestplate and leggings, Blast Resistance IV on the helmet, and Fire Resistance IV on the boots (among other things), and went from full health to dead in one single fireball at a distance of maybe 15-20 blocks.
Happening to me as well.
I haven't heard the all-too-familiar sound of zombies pounding on a door in quite some time, and it was an ever-present part of the game a year ago. They just don't attack doors anymore. Ever. It doesn't matter what's on the other side.
Thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you. We were having problems with the realm in question, so I didn't check it until last night.
The bubble columns are working now. I picked up both the top water blocks (up and down elevator) and both the magma block and soulsand, then replaced everything and the elevators just started working. I had thought that maybe distance was a factor, as the columns are both over 30 blocks, but I don't know what the problem was, or even how I fixed it.
I only know that it's working now, so mark it as resolved.
I haven't heard that old familiar sound of zombies pounding on a door in well over a year. We used to have to make our doors out of iron in survival hard realms because zombies would break down wood doors. Now they don't go anywhere near doors of any type, let alone pound on them.
It's still happening with Win 10, playing on my laptop, almost exclusively in realms. I switch back and forth between Chroma Hills (x64), Norse, and Egyptian packs, and quite often when I restart the game for any reason, I've inexplicably reverted to vanilla and have to select a texture pack again.
Add Norse to the list, with two store-related errors. See attached.
I checked every other pack I have, and none of them seem to have this problem ... so far. Those packs include: Chroma Hills, City, Beyond the Lands, Pure BDCraft, Chinese, Greek, Skyrim, Fantasy, Natural, Steampunk, Adventurer's Dream, Relics of the Privateers.
As a further note: For the past several weeks the game has completely frozen up when entering the store, and I'd have to force the game to shut down. I don't know the reason for this, but since I've been using Egyptian and Norse packs extensively in that time, I think it might very well be related to the missing buttons in those texture packs.
Now that you mention it, I've noticed the same thing. I do a lot of enchanting, and in a realm started a few months back I've created chestsful of books, and none of them had over two enchantments.
I haven't seen a three- or four-enchantment book in a very long time.
The problem was intermittent throughout the evening, happening to not only my realm but a few of my friends' realms as well. Sometimes we could log on, sometimes we couldn't. But as of 3:30 am US west coast time (PDT), all the realms I am a member of were working. I will keep you posted.
My friends and I had no problems with any of our realms yesterday, so you can mark this as resolved. I'm sorry for the much ado about nothing, but the last time this happened to a friend of mine, her realm was down for days. I just wanted to go on record as soon as I noticed a problem.
Put walls around any villages you want to save and use. It's the only way. Have you ever heard the phrase "village idiot"? They're all village idiots.
Walls might even be more necessary when they introduce pillagers.
A friend of mine had this problem, or a similar one, with distant landscapes rendering this way. She solved it by going into video settings and lowering the Anti-aliasing setting. I'm no expert, but it might be worth a try.
If I play for a while and try to enter the Marketplace, the game freezes up and I have to force-close it. I have no problems if I enter the Marketplace upon first starting a game.
Did you post a video of this to the Xbox app? Because I saw a video of this happening. Very weird. You might want to try making a short video (8 seconds or less) to help the folks at Mojang see what you're talking about.
Does anybody even look at these? It's been almost 19 days and my Torchwall skins are still blank.
It's been almost a month and the texture for portals in the Egyptian pack is still broken.
It's been 5 weeks and the Norse and Egyptian packs are still showing the same error message.
Something very fishy is going on here and I would like an answer.
This screenshot shows I own Torchwall. This second shot shows something definitely not kosher:
The list at the top says "0 skins; 1 world" next to the icons. But the description below clearly says it "Includes 20 skins of Knights, the Princess and more". I use a couple of the skins regularly (a knight and the ranger).
Did you stop offering skins with this pack? Why? You can't just remove part of my purchase, the only part I use, because you changed the deal. I bought this pack with skins and I expect it to have skins.
Two of my friends bought the Egyptian pack this last weekend they say they can both see the blue stripes that don't belong in the portal texture.
Thank you for your suggestion, George. After chatting with Xbox Live support to no avail (because, let's face it, Mojang's "customer support" is like UFOs or Bigfoot; it's rumored to exist, but no one has found concrete proof of it anywhere), I managed to find what I hope is the support e-mail address for Imagiverse. (Mojang gives only a Twitter address for them, and I loathe all things Twitter and refuse to have anything to do with it.)
I'm not getting any text at all on any signs at times. The text flickers in and out while typing it out, then disappears completely with I exit the text editor.
That's good. What about crashes when changing texture packs? It's happening to me far too frequently lately.
I've been able to post signs since the yesterday's update, playing Win 10 version on my Dell laptop. So far. It's been an intermittent problem, so I don't know if the update patched it or it just decided to start working again until the next time it decides not to, lol.
Still not fixed. I got an e-mail from someone at Imagiverse. They promised to get back to me and never did. Judging by the fact that it's been almost two months, they never will.
Who do I have to talk to in order to get a refund on this fraudulent bait-and-switch pack?
Yeah, Protection IV and Fire Protection IV have been almost nonexistent as well. Of the 100 books, I have one of each. I've had to make do with combining two Prot III or Fire Prot III, but they are still scarce.
It was fixed for me up through 1.8. Not anymore.
With the release of 1.9, this problem is back as regards to endermen. I've killed about a couple of dozen endermen in two different realms (diamond sword, Sharpness V, Looting III, Unbreaking III, Mending) since the release of 1.9, and I've gotten a grand total of four pearls in only two drops.
This has been reported before and is covered in https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-39933
They also said they had it fixed with 1.9, but apparently not.
The cat is a lie.
The problem has returned for cows dropping leather as well, judging by all the cows I killed last night (enough for 2 stacks of beef) and the paltry amount of leather I got (23 pieces).
I'm having the same problem with creepers and skeletons showing up in areas of my well-lit mine and underground storage areas, with torches every 6 blocks.
I'm also having a crazy abundance of slimes spawning in multiple areas of my mine and the surrounding caves, all well-lit areas. Please don't fix this part, as I actually like it. LOL.
It happened to me a few days ago in my realm. After exiting the game inside a house, when I returned about an hour later I respawned on the roof. My inventory and settings were otherwise unchanged.
This is already being covered in
MCPE-38374It's been almost another month and still no reply from anyone at Mojang at any level. I've sent an e-mail to "customer support" (and I use that term very loosely) requesting a refund. I've sent e-mails to Imagiverse.
And I've yet to receive anything remotely resembling a reply in the bug reports regarding whether or not this is a bug, or just a garden-variety ripoff.
I imagine this could also depend on the texture pack.
I've noticed this for a while now. If I accidentally break leaves with silk touch, I get rid of them because they won't stack with the ones I intentionally harvest with shears.
I've also had stacks of normally harvested mushrooms, and mined endstone not mixing with those same items broken with a silk touch tool.
