Extreme Arrow Projectile Distance
Arrows on Bedrock edition appear to travel well over two times the distance of their Java counterpart whereas eggs and snowballs return almost the exact same distances on both versions.
Tested by standing level with the ground in a super flat world and shooting at a specific pitch then mapping the distance travelled by the projectile.

Also, arrow particles don't actually trace where the arrow is going, when you shoot the bow the arrow particles are 4 blocks above the arrow trail.

dont quote me on this but i believe its a feature
So that I can try to reproduce your observation, please tell me what method you're using to gauge your pitch angle precisely.
The teleport command with yaw and pitch arguments.
Confirmed in 1.9.0 on Windows 10. The arrow distances shown for Bedrock in the graph were reasonably close to the distances I measured. I am unable to test on Java Edition and assume the graph is accurate.
Steps to reproduce:
In a flat world in Creative mode (I suggest peaceful, always day, no mob spawning, weather cycle off):
Affects 1.11.4.
This behavior massively effects the ender dragon fight, as it's nearly impossible to hit some end crystals due to the low curvature of the trajectory of the arrow.
All that would need to be done is to edit the "power" of the arrow, from 5.0 to 3.0. Here's a graph on the Desmos graphing calculator showcasing the distance values taken from this one change: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/sponfhsxit
Affects 1.16.20.
Affects both 1.16.40 and 1.16.100.60
Affects 1.16.100
Affects 1.16.200.56 Beta
Affects 1.16.221, and affects beta 1.17.0.54
