Sometimes when you move a Villager away from his claimed bed (100+ blocks away or move him to the Nether) he does NOT unlcaim his bed. Either he has to die or the bed must be destroyed in order for their "bond" to end.
I was expirementing with Raid mechanincs when I noticed this. I managed to start a raid with ONLY 1 bed around (its Villager was either in the unloaded Nether or 200+ blocks far from the bed). No other Villagers or whatever nearby.
I assume this is a bug since, from my knowledge, if a Villager is moved more than 100 blocks away from his claimed bed then he unclaims it, and in my situation he didnt.
If nessasary I can also provide some proof about this.
EDIT:
So I uploaded a video demonstrating this issue.
- First I create a Village by adding a Bed and a Villager near it. The villager claims the bed as it is shown by the green particles.
- I move the Villager 100+ blocks away from the bed. He should have lost connection with this bed and unclaim it.
- I kill a Pillager Captain to obtain the Bad Omen effect, which enables a Raid when you are close to a Village.
- A Raid occurs.
So, since the Raid occured it means that the Village was still... a Village (Village = 1 Bed + 1 Villager), which means the Villager DIDN'T unclaimed the Bed after being moved so far.
Minor details:
- I have tested this with more than 100 blocks and it is the same. Max blocks I have tested this was 300-350 blocks far away.
- I have also tried to move the Villager to the Nether. He still has the connection with the Bed. The Raid started with just only the Bed in the Overworld.

So after today's update and the addition of the snapshot 21w11a, I can't load my server which was left at 21w05b since all the latest snapshots cannot load old worlds.
I tried to load other versions and it seems to load just fine.
Please fix this as soon as possible I can't open my server anymore, or make it so we can play old worlds too in the new snapshots. Thanks!
Edit:
I tried to load 21w05a and it's also broken. But in this one at least it tries to load until it fails and shows the error "Sorry, unable to start Minecraft." at the top right corner, while in 21w05b it does nothing when hitting the Start button.

I'm not sure if this is intented to work as such but in the past you could continously get Suspecious Stews from brown Mooshrooms by having Bowls in the left hand and Flowers in the main hand and keep holding both left and right mouse buttons.
Now this does not work, the game gives only the flower to the Mooshrom and the Bowl in the left hand does not "milk" it afterwards, forcing you to keep switching between slots in order to get it.
Having only Bowl in the left hand works though (for getting Mushroom Stew), just not with a combination with flowers. Is this a bug?
How to test it:
1) Get a brown Mooshroom
2) Get Bowls in the left hand, and any flower in the main hand.
3) Keep holding both mouse buttons while facing the Mooshroom.
The Bees are bugged. After some time playing in a server while having some Bees inside a Bee farm (or even Bees wandering around; not in a farm) once they get inside their nest they NEVER come out again.
Seriously I am not sure what is causing this issue or how to reproduce it but it's a thing and please take a look at it and fix it.
From my understanding, I think the nest is actually causing the bug. Maybe it gets somehow glitched and seems to be "losing" the Bees inside of it. I think maybe the weather or sleeping (which both affect the Bees' behavior) seems to play a role at this. Maybe a combination of them at a random, but exact, moment causing it, I don't know, (sorry for the lots of "maybe"s there but seriously I have no idea what is causing this bug to occur).
This bug first occured when I had a Bee farm in the Nether. I had 8 Nests of 3 Bees each. After some Days
(Minectaft Days
), idk, all Bees inside the farm where gone. I moved the nests in the overworld but Bees didnt came out. I broke all the nests and no Bees came out. So the Bees where glitched and disappeared.
Then I built a new farm, in the overworld this time, and after some days of working just fine the Bees again dont come out of the nest.
How to reproduce this glitch:
- Start a Single Player server and get a Bee farm.
- Play in the server as a normal player would do for some days.
- The Bee farm sooner or later will stop working and the Bees will all disappear.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the overworld farm that I built in my example even had nametag'd Bees.

It was mentioned before than Phantoms are spawning in Mushroom fields biome and I can confirm it is STILL in effect, but I noticed that Axolotls and Glow Squids can spawn there as well given the appropriate conditions.
1. Start a Superflat world of a Mushroom fields biome with at least 2 layers of water (below sea level) and a layer of a random block above them. Example: minecraft:bedrock,2*minecraft:dirt,2*minecraft:water,30*minecraft:air,minecraft:glass;minecraft:mushroom_fields
2. Notice that Glow Squids and Axolotls can spawn inside the water.

So, the spawning mechanics for Glow Squids have been changed AGAIN after Mojang "fixed" them not being able to spawn everywhere there is water messing up with people's pools, water elevators, aquariums, etc. The disaster is back again and the same problem started to appear again in the latest snapshot.
Now, they don't even need a block above the water source to spawn, they can spawn even under direct sunlight.
Please, revert it back to the previous mechanics so it wont become the most hated ne

A Dispenser (with an empty Bucket in it) cannot suck the water from a waterlogged block that contains a Coral or Sea Grass in it. It spits out the Bucket instead.

EDIT: It seems like they can suck the water from Corals. They cannot do it with Sea Grass though.
How to produce this bug:
- Place down a Dispenser with an empty Bucket in it.
- In front of the Dispenser place water and inside place Sea Grass.
- Enable the Dispenser.
- Notice that it spits out the Empty Bucket instead of sucking the water in it.
Redo it with a Coral inside the water source and you'll notice that it sucks the water normally.

ATEMVEGETA, can this still be reproduced in 1.18-pre5 or later?

Further investigations showed me that the Villager WILL unclaim the bed eventually if moved 100+ blocks away, but the mechanics are weird. Here's the results I came up with:
NOTE: The Villager must unclaim FIRST the working station and THEN the bed. If a "noon" in game hasn't passed yet for him to unclaim the working station he will NOT unclaim the bed in the next time=13600. He waits for a "noon" first and then for the next "night". Weird! At least Villager breeding farms will continue to work gladly. Just move the new Villagers 100+ blocks away and wait for noon-night timings to kick in.
If someone has more info about this mechanic please post it here in the comments. Thanks!
But the "old" worlds work up until this snapshot. We can't play in the new ones. If this isn't fixed we cannot open and play in our worlds again until (I guess) the full 1.17 version is released.
But doesn't the main hand "fail" to give another flower?
@user-c84db Just to mention that to me it happened even in the overworld not only in the End/Nether dimension
@user-c84db Isn't it supposed to be NO other mobs in general and not only hostile? Even if you start a superflat world with just grass you wont get Sheep, etc to spawn on it either. I doubt Bats can spawn either.
UPDATE: Ok Bats seems to spawn there so nevermind (I just tested it), maybe it's supposed to be No-hostile only after all.
Sure I'll do that! Thanks!
@[Mod] Avoma Maybe it's been fixed, I don't know yet. I have an active Honey farm that I was constantly refilling it with new bees each time the old ones got dissapeared. I will keep an eye now to see if those ones glitch as well or not.
The bug still exist!! My new Bees have disappeared once more.
Why isn't this bug fixed yet? It still exists in 1.17.1 pre-release-2 and has been around since 2018.
@Dmitry Konev Isn't it about time though? 4 years since it got reported.
It was issued as a bug in the past and got resolved. Now it appears again with the new spawning mechanics for Glow Squids. Why is it Invalid now? They are once again breaking people's farms as they used to do back then.
Still a problem in the snapshot 22w03a!
The most important problem of them all is that they spawn in flowing water which makes no sense. They can even spawn in edge of the water flow in which the water is roughly a few pixels tall, thus they can suffocate at the very exact block they spawn in.
It would make more sense if they had some spawning restrictions like light, block underneath, or more than 1 height water sources. Much like how Axolotl's work now (Clay Block, etc).
Right now it breaks a lot of people's farms/builds that were built in previous versions below level 30 before Glow Squids were released (water streams, item elevators, pools, aquariums, etc). It would be more useful if Glow Squids were spawning below level 0 so old servers' farms wont have such an issue.
I hope Mojang will do something about the Glow Squid issue. Right now it became a disaster for some old servers.
@[Mod] ampolive I think they don't spawn (at least) in bubble columns anymore. Since they already fixed an "intentional" issue, there's still hope for the other ones as well. fingers crossed
Confirmed in 1.18.2-Pre release 1
Can this issue be assigned plz? It's almost a year already. Thanks!
@user-f2760 You are correct! It applies to Kelp as well (I'll update the title). And yes, the water should be drawn and the plant should break.
I actually found the issue! They spawn only on top of Stone not Grass. Creating a superflat world with stone surface will make them spawn just fine!I am not sure if it's intented to be that way though.
