The Bug:
Attempting to feed brown mooshrooms with flowers that have already been fed plays the hand animation and produces particles.
As a result of this problem, the player cannot use items in their offhand while a flower is in their main hand. This previously was possible; see MC-222040.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a brown mooshroom by using the command provided below.
/summon minecraft:mooshroom ~ ~ ~ {Type:"brown"} - Obtain a stack of any flowers, switch into survival mode and feed one to the mooshroom.
- Attempt to feed the same mooshroom another flower.
- Take note as to whether or not attempting to feed brown mooshrooms with flowers that have already been fed plays the hand animation and produces particles.
Observed Behavior:
The hand animation is played and particles are produced.
Expected Behavior:
The hand animation would not be played and particles would not be produced when attempting to feed brown mooshrooms with flowers that have already been fed.

Yes, the mainhand is supposed to fail here. However because of MC-219385 it plays a hand animation and you try to feed it again now, preventing you from using the item in your offhand.
This used to be possible in 1.15.2, however the fix MC-178618, which causes MC-219385 prevents you from doing this, so this is a duplicate of/related to MC-219385.
