I've not experienced this issue myself, but a few people from my community have.
After one person managed to fix it by switching to a 3rd party launcher, I realized it was because that 3rd party launcher does not have a built in/bundled Java and they had to have their own Java manually installed to use it.
I told the ones with the issue to manually install Java and set that one in the official launcher instead of the bundled one, and sure enough they all stopped having this issue.
For anyone still experiencing the issue, I suggest giving that a try. If it fixes the issue, let Mojang know here so they'll know they need to update their bundled Java version.

The bug
Now that endermen copy block states exactly when picking up and placing blocks, they can grab and place snowy grass (and mycelium, podzol...). They appear with the strange top texture (MC-109531) and when placed, exist as an invalid block state (snowy, but with no snow on top).

So whenever I go into creative mode and there is a creeper nearby it explodes. I was just testing an automated music disc farm, and when I went back into creative mode to get my stuff the creepers that weren't killed exploded for some reason. I am very confused right now..... ._.

I can recreate this in 1.6.x versions and the 1.7 snapshots.
Place a 3x3 area on the wall of maps. Log off. Log back on. If you have a copy of the maps in your inventory still, the maps will load just fine. If not, some will load, others wont. The ones that will load do so very slowly.
Maybe, but this wasnt an issue with 1.10.2, so I do believe its a new bug rather than one thats been around for 3.5 years.
FFS, this isn't a duplicate issue. This is a NEW issue.... Look at the screenshots of the report you claim this duplicates, and then look at the video I provided. The two are nothing alike...
Try it yourself. On 1.10.2 the is not a rendering issue. On 1.11. there is an issue...
Then how does a 3.5 year old bug barely surface on 1.11? I can reproduce the issues in that bug on 1.10.2, but not this one. This one is new.
No wonder so many bugs go unsolved in this game, they never reach the ears of the actual developers that can fix them because the mod/helper team dismisses them. Thanks for the help guys.
Ok, I was in the middle of making a video of side by side 1.10.2 and 1.11 to prove to you guys it was new, and lo-and-behold it happens on 1.10.2. I guess I just never happened to see it before. I'll admit when I'm wrong. I was wrong. It does seem to be a duplicate of the other bug. Sorry for blowing up.
Try switching from the Exe client to the Jar client. Make sure you have the latest Java installed too. The Exe client uses an extremely outdated Java version (8u25) which is known to cause poor performance in the client during loading screens. This bug sounds like you guys are getting timed out/kicked for taking too long to log in.

This happens to me using 1.12 official. Switching from Spectator mode to Survival mode makes me render invisible on my screen (and my arm, and my avatar in inventory gui). But other players can see me just fine.
@Jeb The ocelots still need to be fixed, as they are the only animal that despawn while named with a nametag or tied up with a lead.

Confirmed for 1.12.2 and 17w43b. I found the root cause and sent a PR fix to the Forge project.
This can be fixed by calling Block#getValidBlockForPosition for iblockstate2 in Enderman#AIPlaceBlock#updateTask() to place the correct BlockState.

From what I can see the Bug is in the ParticleRain class where it detects the fluid level incorrectly.
d0 should be calculating the fluid height from top down, as in previous versions of the game. (1.0 - height).

Same as my last comment, the bug can be fixed by calculating the 1 minus fluid height instead of 0 plus fluid height.
fluidstate.getHeight() returns the amount of air above the fluid's surface, NOT the amount of fluid under the surface.
This can clearly be seen in this video where each fluid height step up makes the particles spawn height step down.

I found a solution that works for me. I simply edited the despawn counter to increment no matter the conditions of the arrow. The only trade-off is now flight time counts against the despawn timer. But having them despawn a couple of seconds early is a much better option than a player using arrows to crash my server.

This is always true, so it always throws when the update attribute packet is sent to the client.
