On full keyboard gameplay you cannot look around using the arrow keys. To duplicate this bug go to settings and turn on full keyboard gameplay in keyboard and mouse. Load up a world and if you try to look around with the arrow keys the screen will jitter but you can’t look around. I also have a video below showing the jittering when trying to turn in a different direction.

Based on some testing I've done, it seems partially fixed in beta 1.16.0.67, however the workstation sound is now incorrect.
Cannot reproduce on 1.16.1. Can you try to see if this problem persists on another world?
Based on some testing I've done, the nether seems to be at 60fps, however, when moving around, the CPU goes to 100%. Ever since the 1.16.0.55 beta, the lag has become a lot more serious as there is a lot more lag around areas with a lot of stuff built in it. Recently, there also has been a lot more lag around my iron farm than usual and I've built nothing near it.
I have provided two copies of my world for investigation on this corruption issue. One is before the corruption and one is after the corruption. The first link is the world before chunks got deleted and the second link is the world after chunks got deleted.

Does
MCPE-109925describe your issue? This occurs in 1.16.201 now. This issue should be reopened.
The lag appears to be worse after the 1.16.201 hotfix especially in worlds with lots of lag such as redstone contraptions.
Confirmed that it affects 1.16.201.
Steps to reproduce
1. Go to the options.txt folder and change the gfx_viewdistance option to higher than your maximum render distance for your device.
2. Launch Minecraft again.
3. See that the render distance has not been changed to the custom render distance and it is back to your maximum render distance for your device.
4. When you open the options.txt file again, the gfx_viewdistance option is overwritten by the game and changed back to your maximum render distance.
Are you in a laggy area such as an area filled with redstone contraptions or entities?
It has been fixed as of the current update.
It appears to be fixed in 1.16.210.

I can confirm with my RTX 3070 GPU. When I am playing the game with ray tracing (24 chunks with DLSS) I am getting around 40-50 fps on average and the CPU usage (Ryzen 5 5600x) sits at around 10%-20% or so while the GPU is only at 57%. Since the CPU is only at around 15% or so utilization, it is not a CPU bottleneck.
I'm also experiencing the same issue after the 1.18 update. Everything appeared normal in the 1.17.41 update however issues started appearing in 1.18. I'm using the Kelly's RTX Conversion resource pack. I will attach some screenshots later on this issue.
