Falling block landing on bubble column over 3 blocks will break
When landing on a bubble column after falling more than 3 blocks a falling block breaks instead of bouncing on the bubble column.
In the attached screenshot if you place sand on the side of the 2nd block from the top it bounces as expected. If you place it on the side of the top block, it will break.

Cannot reproduce in 1.13-pre3.
Can you be more specific about the issue? Is there a consistent setup for this?
In the attached screenshot if you place sand on the side of the 2nd block from the top it bounces but place it on the side of the top block & it breaks.
That's likely because it's getting more momentum dropping from higher up, resulting in it hitting the bottom and thus breaking, whereas if you drop it from a lower height, it'll just float in the column.
