There are really far to many mobs in the snapshot.
It is also about where they spawn.
I had a creeper spawning in a desert temple at the chest level. Obviously it woud wader on the pressure plate and blow everything up even without the player doing anything. There should be no mobs spawning in Desert temples at chest level.
Also ravines are filled with mobs. Where in 1.13 there might be 1 or 2, there are now at least 20...
There has always been the chance for mobs to spawn in the bottom of the Desert Temple though.
Really? I never had that happen (ok, only been playing since 2016) and thought it would be quite silly if the chests would blow up just randomly.
Was there never a measure not to have that happen? If not, that could be considered a bug on it's own.

Holy mother of FISH!! - Aaaaand because they are a passive mob they wont de spawn even after re log, going to the nether or leaving the area. On a different note - love the new texture upgrades
Ive been having the same issue for about a month and its been getting progressively worse, The worst thing about it is that the problem is primarily in my main survival world
I uploaded a youtube video over a month ago after finding a diamond armoured skeleton inside a cave with well to many mobs, Im struggling to carry on playing the world because the mob densities are ridiculously high and is making cave exploration practically impossible
