The shoes of the zombie match each and every pixel of the villagers shoes except a few pixels [Mojang] Jasper Boerstra missed. It looks a bit strange, and of course it should be fixed nonetheless.

Zombies shoes do not match Villagers shoes
The Zombies shoes are supposed to be exact to the villagers, however there is a line of pixels missing and it just seems a bit off since the rest of the shoes match each and every pixel.

I believe there has been a mistake, as this is not intended as a feature request.
The bug report above states how a line of pixels are accidently missing from the shoe of the zombie, which matches every single pixel on the villagers shoe except that line.
I've made a post very similar to this but with another mob you can find here, however rather than being invalid it was resolved and fixed. If the zombies shoes are intended to be this way how come this is invalid as a feature request and not resolved as works as intended?

They don't need to match.
While you might think they don't need to match, they do. It's a simple 4 pixel line that can be added in 3 seconds top. And leaving it like this in the game for decades would just be weird.

This is intentional, there's no need to comment for newer versions.
@Dhranios This is in no way intentional. If Jappa himself knew this existed you can bet he’d fix it, my post just happened to get the classic “Fix bugs by calling them a feature” treatment.
Friend, it was resolved by a Mojang employee (at the time), things are internally discussed if they need to change or not. Japla knows and wants this to remain the same.
