You cannot place additional pink petals, turtle eggs, sea pickles, or candles on the same block while sneaking and targeting adjacent blocks.
Before MC-205914 was fixed, this only affected candles, but it now also affects turtle eggs and sea pickles.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Build the setup as shown in the attachment below. setup.png
- While sneaking and targeting adjacent blocks (in this case diamond blocks), attempt to place additional pink petals, turtle eggs, sea pickles, or candles onto the same block.
- Take note as to whether or not you can place additional pink petals, turtle eggs, sea pickles, or candles on the same block while sneaking and targeting adjacent blocks.
Observed Behavior:
You cannot place additional pink petals, turtle eggs, sea pickles, or candles.
Expected Behavior:
You would be able to place additional pink petals, turtle eggs, sea pickles, or candles.

It will not work.

Cred căI think this is intentional, because that's what happens to me.
Just because something also happens to you, it doesn’t mean it is intended. What I reported here happens to everyone.
This does not happen in 1.16.5 (sea pickles).
Can confirm in 1.17.
Can confirm this in 21w40a. The expected behavior would be that you can add turtle eggs/sea pickles/candles to blocks when sneaking and targeting adjacent blocks.
