Zombie Villagers sometimes walk through stone fence upon curing
What happened:
Surrounded a zombie villager with stone walls while it cured with weakness potion and golden apple.
Immediately upon curing the villager walked through (or seemingly under) the stone fence that surrounded him.
Fence has a block of air above it and then a roof.
Possible Reproducibility:
It does not happen consistently, only when the villager immediately walks toward the fence when turning back to a villager.
Environment
Java 7, Win 7 x64

It's not a duplicate of that bug. This is specific to villagers immediately following curing.
The villagers don't normally step through the fence.
Nope, because it's still the same bug. It doesn't involve some mobs (like healthy villagers), but some it does (like curing villagers, cows, etc.).
Listen, similar bugs to Yours were assigned as duplicates of the one I've mentioned, so…
There are two situations in which the villager could have gotten to the otherside of the wall
1) The villager walked straight through the wall as if it was not there; which is not walking over the wall (so not the same)
2) The villager walked over the wall, but through a solid block at its head; which is walking over the wall, but then it's a villager walking through another block (So not the same)
Either way, they're not meant to either jump over/on or walk through/over these fences. I still think it's the same bug though, sorry mate
I think it would be the best if someone else got involved into our discussion and expressed what they think about this. Guess we just need to wait…
The wall the villager walked through. This is my curing pen that prevents the zombie villagers from burning in the daylight while they cure.
Closed this issue.
MC-1745(jumping over cobblestone walls) was fixed in 1.4.4Whereas
MC-10(Mobs passing through fence) is still openIt's not appearing to walk through the wall. It physically walked through the wall as if it was not there.
The behaviour is similar in nature to spawning something from a spawn egg on a tile with a fence. They ignore the fence and can move freely. I believe it's because the zombie villager is replaced by the real villager in a similar manner.
Did you reload the chunk after curing and before the villager disappeared?
I did not. Another player and I were waiting standing around watching it, waiting for it to cure. Upon curing it the villager walked through the wall as if it wasn't there and continued on his merry way to the village.
Reopened.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
