Recovery Compass can't be enchanted with Curse of Vanishing in java edition.

It's possible to enchant recovery compasses with curse of vanishing in bedrock edition while it is not possible to enchant it in Java edition.

I'd rather say bedrock is in the wrong here, as the recovery compass can only lead to the holder's death point, not someone else's, unlike the lodestone compass, which may point to their base/home.
If this isto be possible to get vanishing, logically every item should.
It was possible to enchant the recovery compass when it was added (22w14a), but the fix for it being able to be used on lodestones (22w15a) also removed the ability to enchant it.

Сonfirmed in 23w44a. I can enchant recovery compass with Curse of Vanishing in creative gamemode, but in adventure gamemode i cannot enchant.
