Vex texture does not utilize translucency
The bug
The bottom half of allays use a partially transparent texture to make the body appear to fade out further down. The vex model was updated in 22w45a as to appear much closer to that of the allay, however the same area on the vex appears completely opaque, which is inconsistent with the allay.
The texture file for the vex appears to have this region set to opaque, making this an oversight with the texture itself rather than an issue with rendering.
How to reproduce
/summon allay ~-1 ~ ~ {NoAI:1}/summon vex ~1 ~ ~ {NoAI:1}- Examine the ragged-looking region at the bottom of each mob
Expected results
The vex would have a partially transparent lower half as to be consistent with the allay.
Actual results
It does not, resulting in this inconsistency.

The Bug:
Vexes don't have flying animations unlike allays.
I'm fully aware that this may be considered a feature request however, the triaging of reports such as MC-257392 and MC-257341 suggest the vexes should follow similar behavior to allays as allays were once unable to turn their heads.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a vex and watch it closely as it flies around.
- Take note as to whether or not vexes have flying animations.
Observed Behavior:
Vexes would have flying animations. Currently, when vexes fly around, their model gives the impression that they're static and in some cases immobile, which looks quite strange.
Expected Behavior:
Vexes would have flying animations. In other words, vexes would lean forwards when they're moving through the air, just like how allays do.
The Bug
This is directly related to MC-257341
In 1.19.3 Pre-1, a bug was fixed where the Vex's new texture didn't utilize translucency for its lower torso; the tattered looking ghost tail that Allays have which is also translucent. However, there are still small, subtle translucent areas in the Allay's wings that the Vex's texture does not utilize. The tips of Allay wings have a few transparent pixels, as can be seen here:

It's a very minor inconsistency, but if the Vex texture is meant to truly parallel the Allay's it makes sense, especially since the Vex now also has transparent parts too. I would assume this is just an oversight, as it's a very easy one to make.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Steps to reproduce:
1. Summon an Allay and Vex next to each other with no AI
2. Compare and contrast their wings. Although Vex have a transparent ghostly torso, their wings don't have transparent tips
3. Double check this in their texture files; the texture simply just does not have transparent pixels on the wings

Can confirm. Allays also utilizes transparency in not only their ghost tails, but also their wings, which the Vex does not

I can confirm that it is enough to modify texture.
Can confirm for 22w46a
Although this has been fixed for their lower torso, it seems their wings still don't utilize translucency like the Allay. Is this WAI or just a small oversight?

Here's a better image of this. Should this be reopened or should I make this it's own, separate bug report?
I'd say separate report.
