Logging out of Xbox no longer resolves this issue in 0.17.0.2
The game doesn't work for me if I play offline in 0.17.0.2. Tried logging out of xbox and even clearing the app data via my device settings and even deleting the com.mojang folder but it didn't help. The game instantly crashes once I try to open it if I'm not connected to the internet. (Device used: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3V aka Samsung T116 NU with stock android kitkat 4.4.4)
I cant Play the game Offline. after I open MCPE it crashes. Please fix it when I go to place without internet connection i cant play the game.
Confirmed, Samsung Galaxy S3Mini
Confermed 0.17.0.2 aka 1.0.0 beta build 2
Android 4.4.2
Samsung galaxy tab 4 SM-T230NI
Crashes even without Xbox live account build 2
I have the same problem
Using Samsung galaxy tab 3 lite
Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
Confirmed on 0.17.0.2
Android 7.0
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935F
Why aren't the devs looking into this problem?
@Joseph Marji
Perhaps they are looking into it and haven't either: 1. found the exact cause of the issue in the game code or 2. Know what exactly causes it but are still working towards a fix
It heats up my phone and drains the battery quickly If i kept the Data Connection on..
Please fix this problem, It still crashes even with WiFi on or without XBOX Account Connected.
I have to wait for at least 15 seconds of Black Screen with Active Data Connection when launching the game,
Turning Off the Data Connection while on Main Menu/Pause Menu or even when playing will causes the game to crash.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition v1.0 build 2
Android 4.4.4 Xiaomi Redmi 1S (Quad-Core 1.6 GHz Adreno 305)
[Clocklimited to 1GHz to prevent overheating, Causing textures gets glitched sometimes]
Confirmed.
1.0 build 2, Samsung GalaxyJ1 SM-J120G
Android 5.1.1
I was affected by this bug in 1.0.0.0 Build 2 however in 1.0.0.0 Build 3, the bug does not affect me thus it must have been fixed.
Can confirm that this is fixed in build 3.
I can also confirm that this bug has been fixed in build 3.
This bug isn't fixed for me; now MCPE won't open.
Using Samsung Galixy tab 3 lite
Android 4.2.2
SM-T110
Not fixed for me either.
Running Android 6.0 on LG G3.
Has happened since 0.16.0, now on 1.0.0 and still am issue. Tried reinstalling, removing resource packs, even turning off multiplayer on worlds, none of which help.
With wifi on, all is fine, but not with 4g.
Christopher Rogers: We're unable to repro this on an LG G3. Please try a clean reinstall as follows:
Actually, this bug was fixed for me in 1.0...
I tried those steps already without success before I posted... However, just tried again and seems to be working now (either doing it twice fixed it or I didn't do something correctly the first try).. Thanks!
Hey, I installed the app first time today. I have to say there is the same problem on my redmi 3s.
I can't play the game offline (logo - crash), online everything works perfect. If turn WiFi off during game, I can't safe or open a new map - crash....
I tried to reinstall several times including the deletion of every Minecraft file which was left on the phone.
Anybody help please?
I discovered now, that it works on my device (Redmond 3) if I give the app permission for mobile data even if they are turned off.
But still I can't login to Xbox account while data's or WiFi are turned on...
This bug is not fixed. I strongly request it be changed back to an active bug. I am on 1.12.1 on iPadOS. The reason this happens is due to the XBox Account Login. Please fix this immediately. It’s been happening now for months and always happens when I’m offline.
Edit: There is also no logout button anymore in the settings like many people have stated temporarily fixes this issue. This is a extreme issue and should be places as #1 importance. You have stated 1.15 is a bug fix update, so this better be placed as top priority.
Sidenote: Due to your bug tracker not supporting mobile in any aspect I can not tap the edit button on my comment. This is something I brought up 4 years ago now and is still not fixed. If you support mobile Minecraft then you have to have mobile bug tracker support. It shouldn't take this long to get a functioning bug tracker.
Not fixed!!!!!
I am on ios 1.16.10 and this bug occurs. The game only stopped crashing when I turned on wifi
