Pressing "Save & Quit" after going to the phone menu causes the screen to flicker.
Reproduction:
-Go to the pause menu.
-Exit the game by going to the phone menu (leave the game open).
-Come back the game and press Save & Quit.
If done successfully, the screen will start to flicker when leaving the world.
NOTE: Doing this may hurt your eyes or cause a headache, so be careful when attempting to reproduce this.

How does it look like? could you share some progress on this?
Still happens ocassionally. I found a workaround, just open your phone's recent apps (which should put the game at the front) and press the game. It should put you on the worlds list. I really hope this is fixed soon though.
Looks to be fixed from an earlier Beta.
I can't reproduce this now.
Is it still happening in 1.7.0?
This is still a problem in 1.7.0. I see it at least once every day. I'm running a Huawei P20, Android version 8.1.0.
Looks fixed in 1.9.
