Please report only one issue in each report. It's very difficult for us to track issues with different resolutions in a single ticket. I have removed your report about the sleeping villagers' heads because we are already tracking that issue as

Experiencing the issue on Xbox One X and PC.

Boy oh boy iboy is it driving me mad.
Also having this issue on XBox, mostly with a reddish color, the same color as Ascai door we have on one of our buildings, but sometimes black or green or other colors. When it happens on a flat surface it has a pattern like a circuit board. Sometimes hitting one of the effected blocks puts the area back to normal but then other areas seem to change. When trying to build sometimes an area will go back and forth between effected and not and seriously interfer with gameplay.
Same issue on PC. Started by only effecting a few blocks (mainly trapdoors), turning them a dark grey colour, and has since gotten more frequent/worse:
Also the skins that are part of the Norse Mythology texture pack are missing arms/legs.
Edit: forgot to ask if anyone else can't place a double slab block (place 1 slab and then another of the same on top to make a block)? i cant seem to do so since this texture bug appeared
Edit 2: I downloaded an update from the microsoft store (version 1.11 Village & Pillage update). So far seems to have solved this issue.
I have the same glitch/ bug a its very anoying
Needs to be fixed, I have left the beta and will not join it again because of this

[~KKOh4cker]: I only add the fix release when it's in the changelog (which this isn't), because there are several reasons a bug might appear fixed:
Don't worry about fixes that slip through the cracks and don't get on the changelog. MegaSpud periodically reviews for that.
This appeared on a Windows 10 Pro PC v. 2004 Build 19041.369, see above screenshot. The World Seed: Coastal Village (-1813740965); Survival Mode; Normal Difficulty; Infinite Size; world created in Beta v1.16.0.63. This is the first time I have seen this lighting / texture problem for a long time.
