Custom Blocks fail to load if register_to_creative_menu property is set
All custom blocks that are registered to the creative menu fail to load with following error.

I have attached the block file from this add-on and i have found some what of a work around to get it to work until it is fixed.
if you remove the property "register_to_creative_menu" from the description the blocks will load and function properly. (they will not be in the creative menu but they will be available for /give commands and everything else)
I hope this gets resolved quickly as it does make it much more tedious to test custom blocks.

I have around 83 custom blocks in my addon, there are no parse errors, using the current format, no mispellings, and it just crashes the game. The phone isn't a high-end
If I there's only a few blocks(I only tried 1-2) in the addon, it won't crash my game, I can use the blocks (but still aren't in creative menu)
So I tried using the addon with 83 blocks in a high-end phone, and it works without problems
Having lots of custom blocks in a low to mid-end device crashes the game.

you cannot get the blocks by the creative inventory and only by command even tho register_to_creative_menu is true

I have built and attached a block add-on that demonstrates bugs MCPE 63121 and

Using documentation provided in 1.16.0.61 i was able to update the json to reflect the new format. the blocks can now be summoned in the game with the /give command
However, they still do not appear in the creative menu.

can confirm on 1.16.1 win10 pc, I've tried these so far-
1. tested multiple custom blocks addons from different publishers
2. tested my own addon
3. tested the addons on an experimental world
4. removed "register_to_creative_menu" property
but no luck, the blocks are totally unobtainable, game doesn't even register them as a thing.
Game is showing recipe errors because it is unable to recognize those custom blocks, here's the log-

I have not played the release version for a while as i have been stuck on the Beta for months.
The only problem on the current beta (16.20.50), with Custom blocks, is that they do not show up in the creative menu / recipe options, etc..
Everything else functions properly and you can obtain them by /give commands.
They did change the json schema format a few beta versions ago so that may be why you are experiencing these problems.
I have attached a sample block above (bugtest.mcaddon) have a look at the json as an example.

Checked with both Zephira's test and my own addon on Win 1.16.1 release. I confirm the issue is present as described. No errors logged, however the recipe for a custom block or item is not available to the user in creative menu nor suggested in the survival crafting bench menu when ingredients are available. Only vanilla recipes are available. (I did note that a custom entity's spawn egg remains available in creative mode, so that bit is not broken! I also tested with experimental gameplay switch on - no difference to behaviour.)

Documentation has been updated and Blocks now require the following elements to be removed from the Block description section in order for the blocks to load properly.

I have updated the Bugtest Addon that is attached to demonstrate this issue and other bugs I have reported.
The annoying thing about this bug to me is not being able to view crafting recipes. Unless you've memorized every mods recipes, it renders anything other than entity mods pretty pointless in survival.
