Snow in rain weather in the world mixes
Infinite world seed 50642
How to duplicate
-Just wait for it to snow/rain
-Go to the edge of the biome where the grass meets the snow.
There is an overlap, at the edge of the biome, it will snow and rain in a radius of 10 or more blocks.

This is not a duplicate of MCPE-9541, and is not the same bug. This bug does not mention anything about rain and snow borders. It's talking about snow biomes having rain and snow at the same time.
As mentioned in MCPE-9541, there is some overlap between the rain and snow, which has been confirmed to be Working As Intended in Minecraft:Pocket Edition (an intentional parity break).
As you move further into a snowy biome, the rain stops completely, and only snow falls (and vice versa for non-snowy biomes).
Thank you for your report!

This is not just a case of MCPE-9541. That ticket seems to be about weather mixing across the horizontal temperature gradient between different biomes. This report is about what seems to be an unnatural vertical temperature gradient above cold biomes. It may be related to the newer vertical biome mechanics, with cold biomes cutting off at build height and a warmer default biome being used above build height everywhere in the world. The transition to snow at Y 370 matches the plains biome (tested in a flat world).

I think this is Work as Intended because it happens to the PC and console version too. If you are in the edge of a biome, next to a snowy biome, that is supposed to happen.
On PC I thought the rain and snow are beside each other, not in each other???
Yea it's a bug, in PC the snow supposed to fall in the snow biome area not the plains.
I noticed when standing where it's snowing and raining you don't hear the rain at all.
This issue works as intended. If you have a request for Minecraft Pocket Edition, please go to the Minecraft Forums -> MCPE: Suggestions.
This is a bug!
No it isn't it's the flow from one biome to the next.
Look in my report I made about this to make it clearer.
You guys need to actually play MCPC. Check this pic. THIS IS WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE. http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/minecraft.gamepedia.com/d/d8/UVNCC.jpg
Reopening for further input.
QA team covered
Reopening, added a test world that clearly shows the issue described. Rain Border.mcworld
Ok thank you!
@Ramon : Finally stop complaining about the bad job the moderators do in your eyes. This ticket was closed twice as working as intended by Mojang.
Ramon - This isn't a forum; if Mojang close a ticket as Working as Intended then that is how it is.
