Repeatedly kicked from realms, no reconnecting
My realm constantly kicks players out - iOS, android & fire players. Long periods of time before anyone can get back in. Number of players seems irrelevant, same problem with one, two, and more players.

Hello! There have been a few issues reported regarding being kicked off Realms. You can take a look at the original ticket here: REALMS-107. Maybe your problem is the same as one of the one the report is duplicated by. What error message do you get when being kicked?
I have experienced this as well. All players will be kicked from the Realm at once and cannot rejoin for an arbitrary amount of time—usually about 2 or 3 minutes.
I think your realm is crashing not kicking people.
I can confirm this issue on 0.15.0 iOS 9.3
I have the same problem starting yesterday, but ours has no arbitrary amount of time. We have not been able to get into the realm at all since it started.
This happened after I reported the arbitrarily resetting chunks issue in our realm. I don't know if I just have really bad luck, or someone is doing something to the realm on the Mojang side.

I've had chunk reset too... Very annoying. Wonder if it part of the same issue?
Same issue and chunk reset here too... If you change of Microsoft account it doesn't crash anymore (for me)
That's not really much of a solution here, considering the nightmare it was to get my daughter's Microsoft account associated with me under Xbox settings so I could even get her to the point she could see my invitation to our real and accept it. No way I'm going through that nonsense again. I had to spend all morning online with Xbox support before they got it straightened out.
Mojang and Microsoft have really had their way with the poodle on MCPE realms. I don't know of any other way to say it.
Not a solution at all. My second Microsoft account now makes realms crash too. It's very annoying considering it's a paid service... Can we have some informations ? When can we expect a fix ??..

From what other people have been saying you need to erase that player's player.dat file. This of course will erase that player's inventory, hotbar, ender chest contents, xp and location (they'll respawn at the worldspawn as a brand new player).
How do you delete a player's dat file from an MCPE realm? As far as I'm aware, there are zero management tools for MCPE realms.
In my case, none of us could log onto our realm. Resetting it only worked temporarily. I had to finally close that realm and create a new one.
It's really hard to fathom how Mojang can charge money for that experience.

Is there a player.dat file on the client device?
Happens to me constantly as well, sometimes this includes a rollback. I have lost materials and died repeatedly while mining because of this. It is intolerably atrocious. It happens CONSTANTLY. We're talking like, at minimum once an HOUR. Like Scott above, I also rolled a new realm, I now have THREE realms, and they ALL do the same thing - constantly. This is not a client problem, this is a server architecture problem. In the case of two of my realms (the 10-person ones) I was the only person playing and this happened. It's not some client corruption because of bad textures or something absurd like that. Vanilla install, store purchased skin and texture packs, brand new realm with only one person on it, and it crashes non-stop. For $8 a month.
This happens to me as well on my newly opened realm, currently in survival mode. I get disconnected from server every 15 minutes I'd say, and it restarts in 2 minutes or so. This bug is actually more annoying then the realm crashing from breaking a door, because unlike the action of breaking a door, this bug is out of control.
I have experienced this as well. All players will be kicked from the Realm simultaneously and cannot rejoin for a short but random time. Like James it seems to be 2 -5 minutes. We are only a 2 person realm but this is for my 6 year old and I to spend time in something fun for him when I travel. But in the past day we cannot stay in the realm. I was able to export the world, but the export lost about 2 hours of game play. And I did find when I enter the realm if I do not move, then I am not kicked out. But If I move my character when looking at the map, I am thrown from the game. The map is an indicator map which has been expanded twice.
William Cox what is your MCPE version and what device are you using?
I am on Windows 10, anniversary update and the other is the latest version of IOS on an iPhone 5s. We are both on 1.0.0. The problem did not start until after 1.0.0. We had started playing on the Realm when we were both on 0.0.X. We do load updates as they come. I did export the realm and replace it with the backup and the issue stopped for ~24 hours but began again last night at 9pm. Thank you for your reply.
My wife, my son, & I all play on my realm. We're all on the same Wi-Fi with good signal & decent speed. My phone (LG V20) gets disconnected about once a day. My son (iPhone 7) gets disconnected every hour or so. My wife (iPhone 7+) gets disconnected every 5-15 minutes. This is ridiculous!
I play on Windows 10 and neither I nor my friends can play for longer than 10-15 seconds before being kicked. Sometimes we can't even get into the game. I made my own report for this.
This is what happens when the server crashes. Due to this bug ticket being very old it's most likely to be very many different bugs, and having such a generic ticket doesn't help much.
So, I'll close this. Anyone objecting to it then we can reopen it.
