Horizontal movement constitutes weird inside vines, ladders, scaffolding, weeping vines twisting vines and cave vines. If you move through them you are apruptly slower. When a twisting vine is placed on top of another, the lower vine shifts downward slightly, which is a texture issue. Relates to MC-214078.
How to reproduce:
- Place a twisting vine
- Place another twisting vine above
- Take a closer look at the bottom left of the bottom twisting vine
Expected result:
The bottom twisting vine would not move down.
Observed result:
The bottom twisting vine shifts down slightly, which is clearly visible in the bottom left.
The death message for falling off scaffolding is inconsistent. It seems to trigger only when the jump or sneak key is pressed before falling, and even then, it does not always work. Simply falling off scaffolding while standing still does not display the message. This prevents obtaining the death message for falling off scaffolding when a tamed wolf (or a cat, if excluded from the #minecraft:fall_damage_immune tag) dies. However, it does appear when taking fall damage using the /damage command while inside scaffolding.
How to reproduce:
- Build a high scaffolding tower
- Set your spawn point on the scaffolding pillar
/gamerule doImmediateRespawn true- Fall off the scaffolding without using the jump or sneak keys
- Repeatedly fall off the scaffolding while holding the jump or sneak key
Expected result
The death message for falling off scaffolding should display every time.
Observed result
Sometimes, it states that you fell from a high place without mentioning the scaffolding.

No its not a duplicate of MC-213470. MC-213470 is about iron golems attacking villagers back after they attack them. My report is about iron golems attacking villagers out of nowhere for no reason even though the villagers didn't attack the iron golem. Please reopen. Also my issue didn't occur in 1.18.2, while MC-213470 did.
This is not fixed in 24w44a. Please reopen. I still able to reproduce this.
The issue be not fixed. Scaffolding slows me down for no reason. Actually is slow down any #climbable. Ladder, vine, scaffolding. Even air if I datapack add air climbing.
Why would this be considered a bug? If you review the history, you'll notice that Mojang never marked the linked report as fixed. This feature was simply reported as a bug by a random user, and after it stopped working, it was marked as resolved. I recommend keeping this ticket open for Mojang to review and make a decision, as I don't believe it was a bug. As explained in the description, this appeared to be a feature since it resembled third-person behavior.
Upon further research, this issue report is identical to
MC-258159, which has already been fixed. I’m updating the title because the pick block action can be remapped to keys other than the middle mouse button. How can I obtain the log file?
This seems to be the same issue as
MC-163849, which was resolved in the Java Edition before the update's release. It’s possible that Bedrock Edition uses code from before version 19w44a rather than the final release version. As a result, in Bedrock Edition, the elytra still activates when exiting flying mode, similar to how it behaved in the Java Edition snapshots.According to MCPE-145317, the fix for this bug wasn’t included in Bedrock Edition when the ability to activate elytra while ascending was added.

Please clarify why you are calling this a feature request. There is no official statement from Mojang suggesting this is a feature request. As I explained in the description, other issues with flowers in flower pots not behaving like when placed normally are considered valid.
I referenced slicedlime's video as a source because the official changelog doesn't specify that wither roses are planted when a mob is killed by a wither. This is a well-known mechanic: a wither will plant a wither rose if it kills a mob, when possible. However, some people, particularly those unfamiliar with the technical details, might assume that wither roses should also be planted in flower pots in this case, since they are automatically planted in other locations when possible. Since there is no official confirmation that wither roses are meant to be created when a mob is killed by a wither in the first place, we cannot be sure if this mechanic should apply to flower pots as well. For this reason, I decided to report it to determine if it's a feature request. While I understand that these discussions are typically better suited for a Discord server, I don't have a Discord account and don't wish to create one just for this discussion. Therefore, I posted this comment here. This will be my final comment on the issue. If you still find my reasoning too abstract or disagree with reopening this bug report, please remove my ownership of it. Thank you.
You're correct, this isn't an issue with stretched textures. However, it is still related to MC-214078 because both cases involve the textures of the top block and lower blocks of a plant not lining up perfectly. In this case, the big dripleaf stem texture is stretched, which causes the misalignment, making it related to the mentioned report. (Also, I posted this comment to regain access to a link to MC-214078, as typing "214078" doesn't create an automatic link.)
This issue has been present since version 20w21a.
You get teleported because the dirt path turns into dirt. Generally, when a dirt path turns into dirt, all entities inside it are teleported on top, due to the
MC-120611fix. What’s strange here is that you can place the dirt path block inside yourself. As noted in other comments, this doesn't happen with farmland. Placing the block doesn’t play the sound or hand animation, similar to MC-129112. I’d suggest changing the report to "dirt path can be placed inside entities at locations where it immediately turns into dirt."I think this is a duplicate or related to
MCPE-83121. (See comments.) Enchantments increase the rarity.Maps are not designed to function in the Nether to my knowledge. They only display the player's position and nothing more. As far as I know, the player marker is expected to spin randomly. If it doesn't rotate in some cases, refer to issue MC-159275.

This issue affects all door types, not just iron doors. It can be reproduced using /setblock, as mentioned by StevenNL2000, and can also occur without commands, as the texture is no longer visible when inside the door. The problem is not limited to the bottom half of the door; the top half is also missing a texture on the bottom face, which was not an issue before 1.8. Can confirm this has been an issue since 14w32d, when more wooden doors were added. Please reopen this bug report, or let me know if it's better to create a new one.

Although marked as working as intended, the game no longer behaves as described in the report as of 1.21.4 Pre-Release 1, meaning the issue has been fixed. I recommend forward-resolving
MC-189612as a duplicate of this issue.MC-270537describes the same issue, which has been fixed and marked as working as intended. I recommend forward-resolving this as a duplicate ofMC-270537. The breath now fills up upon entering spectator or creative mode. This issue also affects large salmon when removed from a bucket. Sometimes, they suffocate if placed directly next to a block.
Should I create a new ticket for this?I’ve decided to create a separate ticket (MC-279909) since the behavior of where mobs spawned from buckets spawn differs significantly from spawn eggs.
Many NBT tags, such as effects, equipped items (added via commands), burning time (which might be intentional since water would realistically extinguish it), and attributes, are lost when fish, tadpoles, axolotls are picked up with a bucket. Should we create separate tickets for each of these NBT tags, or should this bug report be updated to indicate that it affects multiple NBT tags?
This appears to be fixed in 25w02a.
The fix in 25w02a only applies when using /setblock or /fill, and does not work with a debug stick.

Hitboxes or collision boxes are irrelevant to climbing mechanics. The climbing behavior of a block is not influenced by its hitbox; this applies to all climbable blocks, not just weeping vines. Climbable blocks simply check if the entity's block coordinates match the coordinates of the climbable block. It essentially checks whether the center of the entity's feet is within the block. This bug report seems to result from a misunderstanding of how climbing works. There is no "collision for climbing" in the game.
This is the same issue as
MC-189525. Armor stands store equipment in the same way as mobs. It will probably also be fixed in the future version.Duplicated by
MC-264319, which has a Mojang priority, whereas this ticket does not but is now fixed in a future version. It could likely be marked as a duplicate at least the snapshot is released. As of snapshot 24w18a, this issue happens only when the crossbow does not have the Multishot enchantment. With Multishot, the crossbow behaves as it did in version 1.15.2 by moving up and down. (Confirmed in 25w02a as well.)
