Villagers only pick up four stacks of items
As you see in the video, the villager won't pick up more than four stacks of seeds. I noticed it when i wanted to build a wheat farm. In the video the villager doesn't have a profession but i tried it with a farmer (level one to five), as well.
When i let the villager harvest, he was able to pick up additional wheat and had four stacks of seeds *plus *the wheat. So it only seems to affect items that the player gives him.
This occurred at every ingame-time and in multiple biomes. The villager had bed and workstation reachable that where also shown as his POI.

This issue changed starting from 1.14.3 pre-release 1. Villagers can still infinitively pick up items, but they can only pick up 4 stacks of any type (MC-154427).

Might be intended as a fix for
MC-74407.20w06a affected
This is not fixed, Villagers are still only able to pick up 4 stacks of the same item even though they have 8 inventory slots.
Tested in 20w13a, with all kinds of items villagers normally can pick up, both unemployed and farmer villagers.
Confirmed not fixed in 20w13a.
