Third person view camera does not pass through fences
With the new changes in 20w12a you can now look at yourself through iron bars in third person mode due to their transparency. However this does not appear to apply to fences, which seems a bit off, so fences should probably be added to the list of solid transparent blocks that do not block vision.

Fence gates are affected as well, if they are closed.
Ladders are also affected. To reproduce this for ladders you need to place ladders on glass.

The bug
Even though beacons look almost like glass and you can see through them, the camera cannot pass through it in third person. Relates to MC-175866, MC-175927, MC-177512, MC-181095 and MC-189617.
How to reproduce:
- Place a beacon in front of you of you and look at the beacon
- Go into 3rd person
- Move away from the beacon
The beacon causes the camera to get closer to your body, even though can look through the glass.

Here is a list of blocks that you can look through but 3rd person camera can not pass through. And where it might be a bug that the camera does not pass through.
Ladder, fence gates, fences, leaves, (normal) ice, frosted ice, iron door, oak door, jungle door, acacia door, all types of trap doors except dark oak, birch and spruce.
