hello! we're tracking the bug in MCL-20491 .
and I don't know if mojang is fixing this.
but as a solution, you can fix the problem by downloading and using the windows 7/8 version from minecraft.net/download (Of course, it also works fine on windows 10, etc)

Try downloading from the store or updating the store. Both those suggestions in MCL-20491 can work for Win 10 & 11.
Same here. Second day with the very same screen. Doesn't look too awesome...
This seems to be happening only with the new launcher. Downloading and using the windows 7/8 version of https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download may solve the problem.
Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes.

This is still an issue for many people. I'm stuck at this stage in the store:
How many hours should I wait? Everything else is up-to date, including Windows 11 itself and all the other apps in the store (xbox etc)

Finally, it would be really nice if Microsoft would stop gaslighting people and admit that this launcher just doesn't work.
Not me, but still this is happening with the latest version of the launcher as there are two people experiencing this yesterday and one today. Has this really been fixed?
Fix is coming soon; it is not yet fixed. This is being actively worked on.
Fix was pushed out last Friday; it should no longer be happening where this is stuck forever.
