This issue has already been reported. Duplicate MCPE-102808.
You can add additional information or just vote for the solution to this problem in the specified report.
In addition to the protruding edges of each wall (or perhaps the underlying cause), the soul torch uses a different render method from the normal torch, causing it to be affected by MCPE-102808 and MCPE-124841. It should use the opaque render method just apply the opaque part of the texture to the block model, instead of applying a pixel of the transparency layer around each side of the block.

Of course, we know that the game will not work perfectly on old or perhaps low-performance devices, and this is nothing new. Even before adding Render Dragon, the performance was low, but not like now. You can play a little smoothly. The phone does not overheat ( MCPE-154289 ) .There are no graphics problems in the remote areas (the problem has been resolved) and also problems when selecting non-full blocks.( MCPE-102808 Block highlight is displayed incorrectly on many blocks) and crashing.
The game was rather good, but after adding the RenderDragon it caused big problems to the point that we no longer play the game waiting for RenderDragon to be deleted or improved.

Fixed with MCPE-102808.
Correction, looks like it’s just not reproducible on iOS.

What is described here and shown in the screenshots is just the highlight being applied to the alpha layer of textures on blocks that use the alpha_test render method. It applies to all of the blocks listed at MCPE-124841, though it is not apparent on blocks like anvils that don't have part of their texture sticking out to the side.
