Enchanted golden apples give you regeneration 5 for 30 seconds instead of regeneration 2 for 20 seconds.
Created Issue:
Enchanted Golden Apple gives wrong effects
Enchanted golden apples give you regeneration 5 for 30 seconds instead of regeneration 2 for 20 seconds.
This was reported on bedrock MCPE-103061, but for some reason mojang seems to consider that valid.
Not a bug, The Enchanted golden apples gives only matches the effects like Java Edition, See MCPE-103061.
Thank you for your report!
However, this issue is Working as Intended.
The report you have submitted is working as intended: see the 1.21.40.20 changelog.
- Enchanted Golden Apples now give Regeneration II instead of Regeneration V, matching Java Edition (
MCPE-103061)
Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.

can confirm this on 1.16.50 as well.
hate this bug hope it gets fixed in 1.17
This is not vaild parity issue.
poweredbow That is true. The parity issue was introduced in the combat update (java 1.9) meaning this is not valid. I wonder why mojang still added an ADO to this ticket.
I like the Bedrock enchanted apples better than in Java. I think that they should give regeneration 5 for 30 seconds. You heal much faster that way.
Affects 1.17.40.20
Affects 1.19.21
Affects 1.19.30.23 Preview
Not fully fixed. The length of regeneration is still 30 seconds instead of 20 seconds.
Rather than the fixing slow regeneration on bedrock, they resolve a parity issue that was not even valid.
Still an issue, please reopen the issue. Enchanted golden apples still give regeneration for 30 seconds instead of 20 seconds.
