When flying foot steps are heard and player is at walking speed
When flying in creative mode, after a few seconds of flying, you will be significantly slowed down, to walking pace (running pace if tapped forward). It even sounds like you're walking - as you pass over grass/wood/sand/etc., it sounds like you're walking on them normally instead of flying. It only has the sound effects when you're under 3 blocks above the item, higher than that and the sound doesn't happen.
HTC U11 being used.
Steps to Reproduce
- Be in Creative.
- Fly up and be no higher than 3 blocks from the ground.
- Closed your world.
- Open your world again.
- Fly forward, you will hear walking sounds and your flying speed will be that as if you were walking.

Regarding the random block breaking, are you saying that breaking blocks sometimes doesn't stop when you stop touching/release the control, or that it starts all by itself when you're not trying to mine? Also, are you using the Pocket UI or the Classic UI?
The second bug you mentioned duplicates MCPE-32391. Please search before reporting an issue. Also, please create a separate ticket for each issue in the future.

Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets, and it is easier for you to make multiple tickets than for the mods to separate them.
Please search before reporting the issues as separate tickets. As they might have been reported already.
Most likely these reports resemble some of the issues you have come across: MCPE-32414 Door textures, MCPE-32391 Walking sound is heard when flying and player is moving at a slow pace (walking speed), MCPE-33440 relates to Parrots don't dismount when jumping, last issue mentioned might be caused by MCPE-32175.

Morgwenna: Having to click the 'up' button during creative flying is an unrelated issue, MCPE-32391. It's not an issue with the controls, but with the game mistakenly thinking you're on the ground.
I'm not sure which issues you're referring to as the "water issues". If it's MCPE-33587 and its clone MCPE-33588, those reports contain too little information for us to be sure what the problem is. Because they describe unintended block breaking while trying to use the controls for a different purpose, it was the moderator's best judgment that this was the closest issue describing it.
This issue isn't actually about the controls, exactly, it's about the game being so busy doing something (we don't yet know what) that it's losing or delaying inputs from the controls. Controllers, touch screens, and keyboards actually send a signal when you press and again when you release. The computer doesn't actually detect that you're pressing, it just remembers that you pressed until it gets the signal that you've released. The problem here seems to be that the release signal is being missed or delayed, so the game thinks you're still pressing when you aren't any more. But the underlying problem is that the game is too busy with something completely unrelated, and it should never be too busy to accept inputs for that long.

this problem is very annoying I hope they solve it soon
It also won't allow you to sprint unless you fly up (not down), and flying in either vertical direction fixes it until you land.
Also happens sometimes after you exit the inventory
This is REALLY annoying. Please fix as soon as possible
The same thing just started happening in mine. Immediately after downloading the latest aquatic update. It seems like running in survival has slowed down considerably as well.
Since I assume the bug tracker does not support 100 MB+ video files, I'm linking to my recording on YouTube. Note the middle bottom where it has + symbols when flying and - symbols when not, then the x velocity (unused in this test), y velocity (vertical momentum; when it hits absolute zero is when it triggers while flying) and z velocity (this monitors the speed we are looking at).

This is probably the most annoying bug yet, when I am in creative mode. Steps to Reproduce the problem have been included in this bug report.
This also happens to me when I fly above carpets (about a block and a half or so) It sounds like I'm walking on the carpet but I'm not touching them and I move really slow as well.
My issue got put as a duplicate of this. But my version is worse it happens anytime you are flying. Video of it happening.

As a workaround, flying up or down slightly will correct the problem as long as you're a few blocks above anything. However, the problem comes back each time you stop and change direction, or fly too low over something, and possibly in certain other circumstances.
Another way to get this to happen is either add input from a keyboard while using a controller or controller input while using a keyboard
this happens for me too and nothing fixes it. its a huge bug.
THis BUg Is Soooo Annoying
Is there any indication of when this bug will be resolved?
This bug isn't reproducible in the 1.5 release.
It does happen in v1.4.2 though because my Xbox runs that version.
Go to the Minecraft page on the Microsoft store and select update. That's what I had to do because 1.5 is out now.
