Custom slim skin left leg is mirrored
Only using custom slim skins, the left leg part is mirrored.
It only happens to the leg part, the pants (outer layer) works fine.
Seems like this bug is caused because the geometry.humanoid.customSlim, found in the game files, have a mirrored variable, with value "true".

The left leg uses the same texture, but mirrored, from the right side, like in the past when skins was 32x64.
This causes an odd behavior, principally when creating custom skin packs.

I think you can actually fix this issue by editing the player models with an app like Blockbench by moving the left leg to the right and the right to the left.

This bug should be fixed already. Now we have new problem, the right hand is mirrored somehow too. I was super frustrated when I realized that yesterday while playing on CubeCraft.

This bug is similar to MCPE-50258, however I noticed it being strangely different on my pc/Minecraft windows 10 1.16. When I tried using an Alex type skin, the left leg seemed to mirror itself, instead of the right leg. To explain what I mean, here is a skin I made showing this problem. H = Head, B = Body, LA = Left Arm, RA = Right Arm, LL = Left Leg, and RL = Right Leg. The left leg seems to be mirroring itself instead of the right leg, like in MCPE-50258. This does not seem to affect the steve skin version, as it displays as intended. It does not affect the outer layer, only the interior left leg. This also only occurs when I use custom skins, not marketplace skins.

Does MCPE-50258 describe your issue?
I have the same bug. It seems that in custom slim skins, the body layer of the left leg is a mirror of itself. This differs from MCPE-50258 because there, the left leg is mirrored from the right leg, unlike here, where the left leg is a mirror of itself.

This bug is also present in Windows 10 version, not just Android as reported here.
im on android and the same is happening to my custom slim armed skins as well as the skin swap bug i hope these get fixed

It's not a prevalent issue on 4px skins, so it should be an easy bug fix
I don't think it is difficult to fix this bug, just rewrite the json file, doesn't it? this issue was create at 09/08/19 and today is 23/05/20, the bug still not having been resolved. please fix it as soon as possible
Yeah! it works on the normal skin in terms of legs but then the arms look glitched.
Really hope they fix this soon because it's really annoying not being able to have your designs as you would like them to be!
It still doesn’t work for me (windows 10). I worked fairly hard on my new custom skin and planned to play with it on the ‘Alex’ format so it was upsetting when the skin didn’t cooperate with the game. Could you please fix this issue soon, not gonna lie I’m kinda desperate. Ty~ Minty

I'm really frustrated because I just updated my Minecraft IOS app to this new nether update. They've got emotes and all this fun stuff, but they haven't even fixed this easy little thing that apparently just has to do with the code being set to "true" instead of false. And it seems like it's gotten worse. Now, instead of mirroring the other side, it literally just copies it. So the inside of the left leg is the outside of the right. It looks even more stupid. They just finished a major update. We've been complaining about this since Fall of last year. The fact that they haven't fixed this, but the Steve characters and male figures look fine is a little questionable. There are plenty of slim armed characters playing on servers, so you'd think someone would look around at how stupid they all look and say, "hey, maybe we should fix this." I added my own reference pictures for the new update (don't judge my character lol. It's a cosplay look).
This bug seems to be resolved and replaced by another bug,
MCPE-85749, where the left leg is a mirror of itself, instead of the right leg. That seems to be the bug in Taylor H's skin, not this bug.I just hope they fix this
Yes. This is still a Bug in 1.16.1 on Windows 10. please fix it soon. It is rather annoying to spend all that time on a custom skin and not have it working properly.

So many people use dream skins and they all look do weird because this bug lol

Evermore - This issue is fixed in the latest development version of the game. You can expect it to be migrated to the full game in the next major release.
Just updated to 1.16.50 in my ipad. The bug still exists.

I can actually reproduce this in the beta's sometimes, though not 100% of the time.

The problem persists, it happens with any skin, both skins for java, and HD bedrock edition.
When is it supposed to be fixed?

It's been over a year and still happening... So frustrating.
