I can't create the festive mashup world on my iPad. It just comes up with an error, try it for yourself. the resource pack doesn't load either. I even deleted the files in the premium_cache folder so it appears the actual files are corrupted

For me, it only affects resource packs that are included on Nintendo Switch, but not purchased on my Microsoft Account. To check if the content was affected, Go to Marketplace, then head to My Contents, and download some if the content was not downloaded, if there's "(P)" after "Owned" on it, it is most likely to be affected by this bug.
There is an issue someone was having and the cause of another issue from them can be found here.
Also I think it relates to MCPE-61368 as both are results of the game treating these contents incorrectly.
For working around on Nintendo Switch, I can still activate the affected resource pack as a global resource pack (specifically Natural Texture Pack), even after a game reboot, but cannot activate that pack on a world even with a redownload. And mine in "My Contents" is "Owned (P)"
Edit: Can reproduce another symptom which I cannot enter the world with affected resource / texture pack activated as global resource pack without deleting and re-downloading, and workaround from mountainlover works for me, but after deleting the affected resource pack, I had to go back to Marketplace for the re-download, as mentioned by [MCPE Mod] Auldrick.
Edit 1: Edited the whole comment so it is clearer. Additional context based of next comment from me is that I have a skin pack that is specifically owned on iOS, on My Contents, that skin pack is labelled with "Owned (P)" instead of just "Owned", for more about that label, please take a look at the description of the issue added by [MCPE Mod] Auldrick.

@Alexander Dybvik don't ask the developers when they will fix this bug, sometimes you'll have to be patient for these to be fixed. Even the moderators don't get notified when these bugs will get fixed.

This is ridiculous. We purchased this and cannot use it. It has been almost a year now and they still haven't gotten it fixed. I love this mashup and cannot play it. Need to get it fixed or refund everyone their money!
Still not working. I purchased this in 2016. Old worlds that used this template still work, but WITHOUT THE TEXTURE/RESOURCE PACK, but I can't create new worlds using my purchased template. This makes no sense, as you are still able to purchase this MADE BY MINECRAFT Mashup pack. Are people who are purchasing this now having the same problem? I can still access the skins. Very sad as this is THE time to play this Mashup pack. Hasn't worked in awhile. So why is it still offered in the market?

Tried to test on Xbox One (MC v1.18.10) but for some reason it wants me to buy it again even though I'm signed in with the same Microsoft account.

Agreed. I've talked to Minecraft customer support and they refuse to give a refund, so I'd like this to be fixed ASAP.

After a bit of hassling, I was actually able to get a refund for this pack. Full refund in minecoins.
My oldest son wanted to show his little brother, who is new to Minecraft, his favourite world from when he was little. Sadly, the world wouldn't load or even apply the textures to a newly created world. Please fix this for Christmas this year! They would be so excited!
I'm sorry for being late but I FOUND THE CAUSE OF THE ISSUE! its because you bought in a minecraft bundle that came with the game or you bought it from outside of the marketplace. so basically that bundle only gives it to you in that version but for some reason the game thinks you technically don't own it! unfortunately the bypass to this bug is to buy it on again on another device on the marketplace. and perhaps the reason it happened on your iPad is because you might've bought it before the marketplace came into existence as that was a direct purchase and not with mine coins.
