Permanently silenced by the server (all messages hidden from all other players permenently)
My brother and I were testing the censorship of the chat on our realm and we are no longer able to speak to anyone on the realm. We cannot say anything without the server hiding the message from all players. It has not let us speak since and we have no idea if there is some hidden timer or if we are just muted forever. There need to be server admin settings around this to see what is going on in the back end. It would be logical that server owners (your paying customers) would have the option to disable censorship or at least undo the random acts of moderation by the server that is preventing them from being able to use a core part of the service they are paying for.

This appears to be the same issue as REALMS-10606 (you get a warning "your text has been hidden from some players on the server" and your chats don't show up for anyone else). So I've resolved this as a duplicate of that bug report. You're by far not the only one who this is happening to.

I am in the exact same situation, I joined my friend's realm, who as far as I can tell does not have on any type of chat filter, and after cursing a couple times, which would have normally had no consequences, I was also banned for saying anything. Any message I put has the same message following it saying "The server has hidden your message for some players." This system needs very urgently to be addressed to at least like op said add a way for the actual server owners to see and change rules like these, or at the very, very least give us a timer or warning.
on one of my friends realms i decided to invite my partner, when they joined i jokingly said "oh ew a c*nt" and it instantly gave me the "the server has hidden your message for some players" message. i then replied to that message with "lol" and it gave me the same error, i then tested it again and said a simple "hi" and another "hey" both resulting in the exact same error message. i got censored for one word, and have been censored for a few days now.
if anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know asap.
and the worst part about it is that not everyone on the realm has discord/doesnt want to give their discord to anyone but the owner of the realm, and thats entirely valid because those 2 just have really bad anxiety, its kinda hard passing messages through one person, specially with time zones and that one person forgetting to pass messages through.
I'm in the same boat, but as a server owner on Java edition. I don't even remember typing anything the server might censor, but lo and behold, when I logged on today, my buddies can't see any of my messages and anything I type onto signs immediately disappears. It's very aggravating to not have any control over this when I'm the one handing you guys part of my paycheck.
Edit: I just tried whispering as well, and that is also muted. It is infuriating to not have control of this. If this issue is not dealt with quickly I'm closing my realm and taking my business elsewhere.
Yeah, I didn't say anything at all that might be muted and I'm now unable to send chat messages to anyone.

(as far as i know this is when i was blocked from chat, however it may have been earlier and i didn't notice)
At this point only one other player was online (waxrevenge) and as far as they could tell they hadn't blocked me. But when they left the server and i was alone again, it no longer said "The server has blocked your message for some players" after every chat message i sent. However i have not yet tested whether it says this with other players online, or just waxrevenge.
so it seems all of us are having the same issue, out of the blue server wide muting on even your own realm it seems, i cannot say a thing and i don't want to be tabbing in and out of minecraft to chat on discord, an absolutely infuriating start to a horribly intrusive and trash cencorship update.
FIX THIS
The same thing happened to me. Literally the only message I sent was "Hello!" and it hid all of my messages. I can't even talk to my friends anymore. I don't even know what is the point in having a realm anymore. My friend is considering dropping his realm over this issue and I will certainly not renew mine until I have the option of disabling this message hiding. We all have the profanity filters disabled, but I got shadowbanned for a simple greeting.
Same. It might also be triggered by words in our language. I.e. "også" means "also" and this is a censored (profanity) word in Realms for some reason. We disabled the profanity filter to mitigate this but who knows what triggered the global censorship on our Realms server - I figure it could've easily been a false flag Danish word. I really wish there was a way to opt-out of censorship and take full responsibility as server owner or similar.
Would love to see this fixed. I can't even say "<friend> eat food" or "/w <friend> do you already have one?" Incredibly frustrating for this to be happening on a server that I pay for.
