When the world was generated, the chest was created to me, but there was a mistake during the generation and it was created over the grass.

Affects 19w46a.
Now that MC-146623 is fixed, Bogdan Barbu's comment is no longer valid regarding bonus chests floating in the air.
This issue has been "blocked" by MC-146623 from tested versions 1.14.4 until 19w45a, before that bug was fixed in 19w46a.
Anyway, this is no longer an issue in 1.15-pre1. The bonus chest generates and replaces the snow layers, so I guess we should resolve this as fixed.

I wanted to check if the bug still persists when creating of the same world, unfortunately the chest was created on another location but it was fine.
Post the world file (upload it in Dropbox/Google Drive/OneDrive/whatever and post the link, since attachments should be under 10MB).

I had this happen with a seed of 93747762, on 1.14 after generating the world again (with cheats enabled and disabled) the chest was in a different spot but still floating. I've attached both worlds, if that helps any. Same seed, just different name.worlds with floating chests.7z
I can confirm it in 1.14.3, i generate the same seed 5 times and the bonus chest just generate it well one time, the next 4... one time with one torch but the chest in the air and one time floating on the upper tree, the last two like if was over an air block
I added a pic where we can see a midair chest + a torch replacing a log
This is a very common occurrence for spawn locations in grassy fields, and either the chest spawns one or two layers higher (even when there's no grass underneath), or it spawns on the ground, but then won't spawn the torches when their spots are occupied with grass.
I wonder if it is releated to
MC-610I generated about 15 worlds and all of them had floating chests with no torches around it, without a single exception. Still affects 19w37a.
