This was supposedly fixed in pre-3: MC-166374
Is this still the case for you in 1.15.1?
Affects from held item by player on third person or mob, splash or lingering potion, experience bottle item frames or dropped items.
Also affect throwing splash and lingering potions, bottle o' enchanting or throwing ehchanting tridents (look in some angle).
The bug is still here with regards to dropping items on the ground, 20w22a! Everything else is good, except dropping them on the ground.
