The Bug:
Particles produced from eating or breaking enchanted items don't appear enchanted.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Eat an enchanted golden apple and look closely at the particles produced from eating it.
- Obtain an enchanted diamond helmet and pickaxe that both have very low durability by using the commands provided below.
/give @s minecraft:diamond_helmet{Enchantments:[{id:"protection",lvl:1}],Damage:362}/give @s minecraft:diamond_pickaxe{Enchantments:[{id:"efficiency",lvl:1}],Damage:1560} - Consume the durability of the diamond helmet and pickaxe and look closely at the particles they produce upon being destroyed.
- Take note as to whether or not particles produced from eating or breaking enchanted items don't appear enchanted.
Observed Behavior:
The particles don't appear enchanted.
Expected Behavior:
The particles would appear enchanted.

The bug
Most splash potions and lingering potions appear enchanted in item form as well as when thrown. As such, it'd be expected that the item texture particles they produce upon impact (as opposed to the effect spirals) would use the enchanted glint as well, but this is not the case.
How to reproduce
- Obtain a splash potion which has the glint effect
- Throw this splash potion
- Pay very close attention to the glass particles that result
Expected results
The glass shards would use the enchanted item glint.
Actual result
The glass shards just seem to use the bottle texture with no further effects applied.
We decided to merge this into MC-219375 as it's effectively the same issue - particles from enchanted items don't appear enchanted anywhere
It does not just affect the enchanted golded apple, if you emchant any food item using an anvil in creative mode and eat it, the particles will not be enchanted. Relates to
MC-219390Can confirm in 23w07a.
