Crop water generates floating in an unupdated fashion in savanna villages.
EDIT: Seed: -2517417006765250602. The village is right next to spawn. I found more floating water too, so more images are attached. It seems to update and start flowing based on random ticks.
After the lighting change in 1.18, slimes in swamp biomes are the only mob to still spawn at light level 7 compared to light level 0 for all mobs.
How to Reproduce:
- Create a superflat world with the following preset:
- "minecraft:bedrock,127*minecraft:dirt,minecraft:mycelium,minecraft:brown_mushroom;minecraft:swamp;"
- Make sure 'Generate Structures' is set to OFF.
- The ground is high enough to be out of the range of slime chunks.
- Mycelium ensures the brown mushrooms don't break.
- Brown mushrooms emit a light level of 1 which, due to them blanketing the entire world, should prevent the spawning of all hostile mobs.
- Enter the world.
- Enter the command "/time set midnight".
- You should see nothing but slimes spawn, proving they have different spawning requirements in Swamps from other hostile mobs.
- Note: Redstone torches and glow lichen won't work as nothing can spawn on either of those.

Cherry signposts (the stick that holds the actual signboard up when you place it on the ground) use the exact same texture as mangrove signposts, only recolored purplish. This is inconsistent with all the other
Overworldwood signposts which haveuniquetextures that reflect their unique log textures(Nether wood doesn't count, as their logs do have the same texture but recolored). Cherry and mangrove logs have different textures, so their respective hanging signs should reflect this, yet they don't.Cherry signposts (the stick that holds the actual signboard up when you place it on the ground) use the exact same texture as mangrove signposts, only recolored purplish. This ticket has seemingly been assigned to Dinnerbone for over a year now with no progress. Given his health issues he's mentioned on Twitter, maybe this should be reassigned?
The mace's falling smash attack activates while the mace is on cooldown (the sword icon isn't fully filled up after an attack and you won't do full damage). This is in contrast to a sword's sweep attack, which will never activate while attacking during cooldown.
How to reproduce:
- Take a sword and spam-attack a mob.
- Notice how the sweep attack does not activate if you attack before the cooldown is done.
- Take a mace and fall onto a
Ravager fromabout ten blocks up or so while spam-attackingit.Sometimes you will sort of float while you're spam-clicking. This is because the smash attack is activating with every hit, unlike the sword's sweep attack which does not activate with cooldown attacks. It isn't 100% consistent, so it might take several tries. The mace's falling smash attack activates while the mace is on cooldown (the sword icon isn't fully filled up after an attack and you won't do full damage). How to reproduce:
- Take a sword and spam-attack a mob.

- Take a mace and fall onto a ravager from high enough to kill it.
- Just before you hit the ravager, swing to the side, not hitting it, to activate the mace's cooldown.
- Hit the ravager while cooldown is still active and you're still midair.
- Notice how the mace's smash attack activates and the ravager dies despite the mace still being on cooldown, unlike the sword's sweep attack.

I see. Sorry.
Is there a possibility that Ulraf was thinking of only of slime chunk spawning when writing that tweet and swamp slime spawns are therefore an oversight?

Why is this down as "Won't Fix"? I thought the ultimate goal was total parity between Java and Bedrock.

WARNING ABOUT VIDEO: The report doesn't make this clear, but the attached video features rapid flickering that may affect people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Please don't remove this. It's so much fun.
This is an AMAZING mechanic. Please don't remove it.
Intentional. Quoth the snapshot page:
There's nothing specifiying it has to be a smash attack. Also, I don't want this enchant to be nerfed (Edit: in this specific way). I recognise how OP fully enchanted maces are but I'd rather see Density or Breach get nerfed, and/or for this enchant to be made mutually exclusive with one or both of the others.
Soul Speed and Swift Sneak can't be obtained from villagers.
Not quite. They're related to each other, but seperate things. That being said I think fixing this bug would make that one not an issue/exploit, if you get me.
I changed the reproduction steps because they were confusing, and I demonstrate them in these videos.
This one shows how the sword's sweep attack does not activate during cooldown. See me spam clicking and it not working. It only activates once cooldown is over and the sword bar has a plus next to it. https://youtu.be/grfc1kq4kxg
This one is for the mace. Pay attention to how I deliberately turn away from the ravager, hit the air to activate the weapon's cooldown and THEN hit the ravager which, unlike the sword, does activate the mace's special attack. You might need to watch it in slow motion to properly understand. This means that unlike the sword you can spam the mace while falling to make hitting something with the smash attack much more likely. https://youtu.be/tg3PS8zRd-U
