Horse model in inventory doesn't follow mouse cursor correctly if horse is facing south
The bug
The horse model in the inventory of a south-facing horse changes its rotation suddenly rather than smoothly as the mouse cursor is moved horizontally across it. This also affects donkeys, mules, zombie horses and skeleton horses. Llamas are not affected.
Originally reported by Brian Entei. Prior to 1.15, this issue occurred with horses facing north rather than south.
How to reproduce
- Summon a tamed horse equipped with a saddle:
/summon horse ~ ~ ~ {Tame:1,SaddleItem:{id:saddle}} - Right-click on the horse to ride it
- Turn to face south (within a few degrees)
- Open the horse's inventory
- Slowly move the mouse cursor horizontally across the horse model in the inventory
→
The horse model rotates suddenly rather than smoothly as the mouse cursor crosses the centre

Created Issue:
Horses facing North(-179 or 179 ish) follow mouse cursor incorrectly
When riding a horse, I noticed that if the horse is facing south(0), the horse follows the mouse in the horse inventory screen alright, but if the horse is facing North(-179 or 179 or so), the horse's head pops to and fro when moving the mouse cursor horizontally over the middle of the horse's position on screen.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
1) Tame, saddle, and ride a horse.
2) make sure the horse is facing North(-179 or 179)
3) Press 'e' or the inventory button slowly move the cursor horizontally across the middle of the horse on screen, watching the horse's headWhat I expected to happen:
The horse's head would have followed the cursor just like the player whilst having pressed 'e'.What actually happened:
The horse's head popped around a little bit when moving the mouse, instead of just following the mouse. Also, facing directions other than south also seem to have buggy effects on the rotation of the horse's head.
This isn't a major issue, but is still a bug, and therefore deserves to be listed as such.

Please note that this issue is not the same as MC-51905, but more rather related to it. MC-51905 is about how the entity model suddenly changes its rotation in a harsh manner when the entity is facing south; this ticket (MC-259921) is about how non-player entity models often have their heads facing off to the side.
