Attacking through walls is a duplicate of MCD-14, however being able to move through walls hasn't been reported yet so I've modified the ticket to reflect that.

I would like to add that mobs can attack you through walls as well. Creepers can explode if you get too close to the wall, spiders can throw web through the walls and probably other things. See the original attachments for another example.
You can also click the skeletal remains (not sure what they're officially called) that usually start events through 1 block walls. It appears to bug the event and never spawn anything.
This caught me off guard when two creepers walked up to wall and then exploded on me.
You can attack through the 1 block wide wall as well

The Burning enchantment as well as the Snowball enchantment can both go through the wall and hit enemies, from the ones I have tested. Also, the poison cloud from Nightmare's Bite also seems to sometimes hit them. As well, if they die close to the closed wall, you can still pick up the gear/emeralds/potions they drop.
This is easily tested with the wall where you unlock the secret Creeper area in Creeper Woods – just don't unlock it, and walk up and allow them to come towards you with one/both enchantments.
