Expected Results:
In previous and other versions, plains have a lot of grass and tall grass.
Screenshots/Videos attached: Yes
Notes:
Original Description:
There seems to be a lot less patches of short grass (Plains), and there's more tall grass (Savannah).
Previously, both biomes had a lot more short grass.

Short Grass and Tall Grass Generation in Plains/Savannahs
I think this has been around for a year or so (since 0.12 I think), but the way how the generation works for short grass/tall grass in Plains/Savannahs has changed completely compared to Java/Console. There seems to be a lot less patches of grass nowadays and when they do appear, there's more tall grass than there is short grass. I don't know if this intentional or a bug, as when 0.9 was around, the terrain generation had a lot more short grass in plains/savannahs.

Dear Developers and bugtracker Staffs,
I don't know why you all class this as a java parity issue. I can confirm this was a part of the game in older versions(MCPE 0.14.0 and before and a bug caused the issue in 0.15.0 to dodays version). I want to fix this because in my opinion more grasses look nicer in the plains and savanna biomes.
I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully.
But this is not a feature request, this is a bug and done. Try older versions of mcpe because this bug introducted in version 0.15.0 or 0.16.0. Why not open this again? I know it is a bug and Helen Angel confirmed.
If you don't understand:
The grass generation was normal in 0.14.0(I attached a screenshot).
After the devs released 0.15.0 and the bug introducted.

Mojang, Please fix this less grass generation bug in Bedrock will male bedrock plains and Savannahs look more beautiful. Nowadays with this bug, I don't even feel than I'm playing the real Minecraft.
This is a parity issue caused by a bug (a quite ugly parity issue if you ask me) so why can't it be fixed. I see little reasoning as to why this would be intended as only Plains and Savannah have little amounts of tall grass while jungles and other such biomes have high amounts of tall grass. Please reconsider this for the new 1.18 world generation so that we can achieve parity in that regard

This may be a duplicate of MCPE-19115. Generally there is less grass in the bedrock so that the productivity is higher. Large amounts of grass can severely hinder productivity. However, since this could be a real parity problem. It is up to the mojang to decide.

Going to give this bug the exposure it deserves.
There is very little tall grass and it makes finding seeds a PAIN on Pocket compared to something like the console version. Also, the clouds generally look uglier too!
Is this actually WAI?
If not, then it's still around in 1.2.0.2.
I don't think this is intentional. Otherwise, the amount of double tall grass still wouldn't be the same. Please fix this bug before it comes to console.
Still affects build 1.2.0.22
Still affects 1.2.2
It's worth noting that flowers and grass render out when the player is far away enough. I don't think this is the case with Java and Legacy Console.
Thank you for your report!

I think it is need to be fix because the plains and savannas doesn't look beautiful.
Mega_Spud this is a bug because I tried an older version of MCPE(0.14.0) yesterday and I saw the grass generation in 0.14.0 version was the same as java edition. This bug introduced in version 0.15.0. I think it is need to be reopen and fix.
I attached a screenshot!
Can someone reopen it please?
Nagy Richard
This ticket has been closed as WAI. Not all differences between platforms are counted as bugs. This could be because Bedrock has different terrain generation than Java but it doesn't mean that it is a bug similar to how pistons behave differently.
Furthermore, the fact that you were able to use two very old versions of the game(and switch between those versions) concerns me. Anyway, please understand that this was resolved as such for a good reason. If the mods find that this is in fact a bug then they would reopen it.
According to Helen this is a bug that they haven't had the time to fix yet https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/8n97ni/there_should_be_more_tall_grass_in_bedrock/e001986/ .

Why is this "works as intended"? The old versions of Bedrock didn't have this issue?
Mojang, please fix this less grass generation issue on bedrock. It will make plains and savannas really beautiful. By this issue, I don't feel like I'm playing Minecraft. Please consider this bug.
Not having the right amount of tallgrass in the plains biome looks very bad, please fix this! it definitely isn't working as intended in my opinion
So many grass in the generation would be so nostalgically satisfying for me
