Summary:
When using skins from certain Marketplace skin packs, leads attach to the player’s head, sometimes blocking the screen.
List of affected skin packs (list may be incomplete):
- 1st Birthday Skin Pack
- 2nd Birthday Skin Pack
- DuckTales
- Earth Skin
- Legacy Skin Pack
- Super Cute Texture Pack
Steps to reproduce:
- Use any skin from the skin packs listed above
- Summon a mob that can be leashed.
- Take a lead and leash the mob with them.
Observed results:
Lead attaches to the player's head, partially blocking the screen.
Expected results:
Lead attaches to the player's hand (as when using skins not from the marketplace) and does not block the screen.

When playing Bedrock PS4, leads will appear above the player's head when tethered to entities and will block most of the screen. I have tried this with baby horses, wandering trader llamas, sheep and cows with the same result.

Same issue, was going to post about leads coming out of the head.
This is very disturbing.. worst of all, it blocks our POV when first-person view.
Same problem, first noticed yesterday (24.04.21) in creative as well as survival mode on v1.16.221 on Windows 10.
Happening for me in v1.17.0 running on both Android and Windows 10. Wasn't an issue before the update.
Hope they fix this bug this year.
i know the solution your must wear custom skin not marketplace skin.If you use marketplace skin it will make the lead when up on your head.
try to use custom minecraft skin it will be normal back but do not use marketplace skin
