The top texture of a shulker box block is rotated 180 degrees, leading to undesired and unintended results when making a resource pack.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install and use the attached resource pack

- Place down a shulker box
- Spawn a shulker entity next to or near it
Expected & Observed Results:
- The shulker box block's top texture will be rotated 180 degrees.
- Both the shulker box block and shulker entity top textures would have the same rotation.

EDIT: I'm removing my Shulker texture since Marcono1234 uploaded a resource pack much better suited for testing.
Attached [^Shulker top test (Resource pack).zip]. I can see that either the texture for the shulker or shulker box is rotated, but why do you think it is the texture of the shulker?
I just realised it's probably just the Shulker itself that's rotated, thanks for pointing that out... Oh well, still needs to be fixed :3
How long does it usually take for bugs like this to be fixed? :o
It looks like both, shulker box and shulker top textures are rotated incorrectly. For blocks with only one texture for all sides up of the texture is north in the world, however for shulker boxes it is west and for shulkers it is east.
Might take some time until this is fixed since there are many other bug reports here as well.
Can confirm for MC 1.12.1.
Confirmed for 1.13.1.
Can confirm in 24w10a. Requesting ownership of this issue to both maintain it, and update the outdated provided resource pack.
