Cannot reproduce in 20w22a. Is this still an issue?
Yes; I have attached a screenshot to demonstrate the issue.
I was under the assumption that this is about the hearts being still there after respawning. Aye, can reproduce.
Also happens when (Enchanted) Golden Apples are eaten right before dying (see
MC-273694).
