Title text renders in front of sidebar
The bug
Although /title text no longer renders in front of chat text in the latest snapshots, it still renders in front of the sidebar. This is not the case in previous versions.
How to reproduce
- Use the following commands to create a scoreboard objective and show it in the sidebar:
/scoreboard objectives add title dummy "Here is a long display name to make the sidebar wider!" /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar title
- Use another set of commands to set scores to at least eight fake players:
/scoreboard players add $num1 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num2 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num3 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num4 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num5 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num6 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num7 title 0 /scoreboard players add $num8 title 0
- Use two commands to create title text in the screen:
/title @s title "Here is a long title!" /title @s subtitle "Here is a long subtitle that renders wrong!"

You will notice that the title text renders in front of the sidebar.

Another bug report which is MC-187267 should be related to this one.
The title, subtitle, and sometimes the action bar renders in front of the narrator's text. The action bar text will only overlap on underlined or strikethrough areas. The text is still tinted by the narrator box but renders in front making it difficult or impossible to read the subtitle texts. This relates to MC-173672 and MC-187267.
To replicate:
- Go to Game Menu>Options>Accesibility Settings and turn on Narrator if it isn't already
- Recommended (not required) turn off speaker
- In Game Menu>Options>Music&Sounds... ensure Ambient/Environment is on (used in commands)
- In order to consistently get enough sounds put the following commands in repeating command blocks that are on:

/playsound minecraft:entity.stray.death ambient @p

The boss bar text is tinted by the sidebar as if it was behind it but still renders in front of the sidebar text. This is inconsistent with other texts that are tinted such as the F3 which is tinted and rendered behind sidebar. This relates to MC-193515 and MC-187267.
In order to replicate:
- Run /scoreboard objectives add abc dummy
- Run /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar abc
