this is NOT a duplicate, it sure is related, but not a duplicate. MC-3073 is about tall grass being off-center, which works as intended. this issue, MC-19005, is about the fact that some grass is SO off-center that the bottom of the tall grass appears through blocks placed next to it. these issues are similar, but NOT the same. I understand that grass being off center is the cause of it appearing at the bottom of blocks placed next to it, but these are different issues. one way to fix it is to make it not so off-center (still a bit, just not to the point where it appears through blocks placed next to it). Another way to fix it is to raise the tall grass a slight amount so the texture does not intersect the block. I hope you realize the difference between this issue and MC-3073

This is because the tall grass is placed with an random offset on the blocks, thus duplicate of

you can't add that version anymore, only current versions (15w43b/c and 1.8.8)
I know, but still is in that version, so it's confirmed because i've seen it with hoppers and appears that the grass goes trough it and it's a bug/glitch
