Left Shift+Left click doesn't work in player inventory while riding horse
Left shift+Left click will not move items between the hotbar and the player's inventory while riding a horse, donkey, or mule. It will move items between the inventory and saddlebags, however.

Confirmed for player inventory on horses, but not for extra storage on donkeys and mules.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
I can confirm that this is still a problem in 13w47e. It seems to be that all of the hotkeys and other inventory type shortcuts don't work while mounted on a horse, donkey, or mule.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w02c / Launcher version 1.3.8 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Cannot reproduce.
Confirmed. While shift-click does work to move items between the hotbar/player inventory and a donkey/mule's saddlebags, it will not move items between the player's hotbar and inventory while riding a horse, or a donkey or mule that does not have saddlebags. It may be trying to move items into the saddle/armor slots, because shift-clicking a saddle will move it to the saddle slot if it is empty.
