Minecraft Launcher is not responding
First make sure the launcher and game are closed, then go to your Minecraft folder and delete launcher_msa_credentials(.json) and try starting the Minecraft Launcher again.
- Windows Users: Press Windows + R on your keyboard, type %appdata%/.minecraft and click OK.
- Mac Users: Press ⇧ Shift + ⌘ Command + G on your keyboard, type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and click Go.
When I try to open the Minecraft Launcher it is stuck on a gray screen and when I try to X out of it it says "Minecraft Launcher is not responding" I am on Windows and I tried uninstalling and re downloading it multiple times same goes for me restarting my computer. Can someone tell me what im supposed to do.

Hello!
Not sure when the issue will be fixed. However, I've noticed that deleting a file in .minecraft can fix the issue. To fix this issue (at least temporarily until it's fixed fully):
1. Restart your computer. This'll stop any minecraft processes that are still in a deadlock.
2. Press win+R, and type in %appdata%\.minecraft
3. Find the folder called "webcache" and delete it.
4. Try running minecraft again.
If that doesn't work, try following the workaround here:

I have the same issue any fixes?
I've been having the same problems for the last 3 months and I cant play Minecraft anymore in till I find a fix, I've done everything you've done and I made sure I downloaded the right Minecraft version
One things you can try would be to move all files starting with launcher_ in your .minecraft to a backup folder. I was having the same issue described here after the latest launcher update, and moving the files allowed the launcher to get to the point where I could login. After that, close the launcher, move a file back, then open the launcher. If it opens properly, keep moving the remaining files one at a time until the launcher either won't fully open, or all the files are back in place.
I've tried this and it worked for me.
What is a backup folder and how do I make one? I've been having this problem for quite a while now.
Please try this possible workaround:
1) Close the game & launcher
2) Press Windows + R
3) Type %appdata%\.minecraft and press Enter
4) Delete launcher_msa_credentials(.json)
5) Try to play the game again

Hello, so I have the same problem as referred here since my Minecraft launch just writes a message of "not responding" and that's why I deleted as mentioned here the launcher_msa_credentials(.json) but my Minecraft still has the same problem.
