Continuous slab placing causes slabs to change from upper to lower
When placing a row of slabs the slabs will often switch from top to bottom slabs or vice versa without the player changing the crosshair position.

Does it desctibe your issue MCPE-54855?

MCPE-54855 dose not describe the problem, it has nothing to do with the placing in a line feature that bedrock has.
I was just trying to fill a top half slab to a full block by clicking on the bottom of said slab, but if there is a top slab of the same type above the block I'm trying place one, it's like the the slab I'm trying to fill doesn't exist and just places it on the slab above.
I haven't actually noticed a switch from bottom to top. It seems to me that there's a builtin preference for slabs (or maybe all blocks) to be placed in the bottom position.
I'm on android, by the way, so it's not just Windows 10.
Affects 1.16.100.58 Beta.
Seems to be fixed in 1.19.0
Issue not fixed, still occuring in 1.19.60
Still affects 1.19.63
affects 1.20.12
Update: As mentioned in the Changelog for the 1.20.70.20 Beta and Preview (in section Features and Bug Fixes > Blocks), the fix provided in the 1.20.60.21 Preview was found to cause a different bug and had to be reverted, so presumably this bug will return in 1.20.70.20 Preview. Mojang will fix it again in an future update.
Still an issue in 1.21.10.20 Preview.
